Hey Sunset Trail Rider, Great video, I mounted the Skidoo Ice scratchers on my ‘22 T-cat. I mounted them differently than you did as I didn’t want to take the chance of drilling into the torqlink arm. I see you mentioned removing 1/8” or 3/16” to the spacer, FYI.. Don’t remove any more than 1/8” off one of the 2 spacers for each side or the coil spring will bind on the spacer. It needs to float alittle but not enough as to not allow the spring to fall out of the hole. Take Care 👍🏼

Thanks! Yes, I do plan on taking off about 1/8” off one spacer only, basically the width of the zip tie that’s currently on it now. That was my concern when I was installing them, I didnt want the spring falling out of the hole as it just barely went all the way through. There was just too much play side to side, so the zip tie was a quick solution. I really didn’t expect the zip tie to work or even last as long as it did lol. How do you like the doo scratchers on your T-cat?

@@sunsettrailrider With just installing them last month on the Cat, I haven’t had to use the scratchers yet this season. Typically everyone I ride with ride Skidoo and have the tunnel mounted scratchers. They all say they've had great luck with them, so I decided to try them. The first trip out the T-cat stayed right in around 168-170 degrees for engine temp. I imagine one of those cold, hard packed trail days I’ll eventually need to try them out. I am your first Subscriber. 👍🏼😁

Hey! thanks for the follow, i appreciate that! Better to be first than last 😆 I think you will be really happy with them once you need to use them. They really are the best scratcher out there IMO and bring my operating temps down to normal fairly quickly.

Do you have any problems with the spring nub hitting the torque arm linkage? Looks like it is really close. I haven't installed them yet.

No, it just misses the torque arm. If it does hit, it’ll likely just rub a bit. You could also shave a bit off, but be very careful if you do, don’t take off more than needed as the nub still needs to go through the drop bracket.

Do you have a part number for these by chance?

Unfortunately I do not, you should be able to find them on the skidoo website though. Or you can call the closest skidoo dealer and inquire about them. 😁
