Just to the uninformed, Bruce does this sort of stuff all the time. It's his schtick. He acts like an arrogant, obnoxious ass and his fans love him for it. Those who meet him for real know that he's really a nice guy who appreciates his fans. He's just having some fun with the audience.

He has such a quick mind. He could have been a stand up comedian.

I’ve seen Bruce at least 11 times over the years. He’s always like this. He’s also one of the nicest guys on the planet. He actually stayed past closing (and against the rules his publicist laid out) at a book signing to make sure every last person got a signature.

Just rewatched Army of Darkness today. It’s good for the quarantined soul.

In 2000, his first book tour brought him to a hole in the wall bookstore in Alexandria, VA. He spent an hour talking, an hour answering questions, and two hours signing books. The PR person said no movie quotes. But my paper of what I wanted him to write was blank, because I wanted my favorite line from Army of Darkness. He saw my blank page and asked about it. I said I wanted a movie quote but since I couldn't get that, just write whatever. He said, "F-it, what is Raimi gonna die me?" And he signed it the way I wanted. "Good...bad... I'm the guy with the gun."

HAHA this literally reminds me of when my dad and I were meeting him at a convention. I was 10, and he asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I told him I wanted to be a band teacher (that's somewhat changed, but music is still the path) and he asks, "You wanna be a band t-shirt?" and I was like, "No, I mean teacher." He definitely has a sense of humor!

He turned a 20 second question and answer into 6 minutes of sarcastic and fun banter with her. That is how its done. She got a hell of a glimpse at what its like to act with bruce campbell. She must have felt on top of the world after that.

He does this as part of his act...his fans are used to it, it's all just a bit of fun

He's really one of the nicest guys I've ever shaken hands with. INCREDIBLY polite, compared to what you see onstage. He does this onstage because he knows his fans wanna talk to Ash, so he gives it to them. That's love.

Bruce loves the "Who the hell are you to be talking to me I'm a world famous Hollywood actor" stuff. The best part is his fans know it and play along loving every minute of it. In reality he has a firm grip on the silliness of his career and knows how to laugh at it.
