When I was a child, I loved the German adaption called "Ruck Zuck" with Jochen Bendel. They used a fanfare when rules were breached.

So that's where they got the name for the Greek adaptation of the game

We, Indonesian, also got the same adaptation called "Komunikata" (also produced by Fremantle here) which used to be aired on national TV station TPI (now MNCTV) from 2001/02 'til 2005, and there is a revival on GTV between 2018 and 2019. So, despite how short-lived American one, this gameshow also had one of successful worldwide adaptions as well.

Still running strong in Greece as Rouk Zouk. We have a very talented and funny host, the super hot Zeta Markopoulia. She's pretty much on par with Steve Harvey! They play the classical way in round 1 and 3 and they've added some extra games in round 2.

That’s right. ABC only had one iconic long running game show, Family Feud while NBC had long running hits like Wheel of Fortune, Scrabble, Sale of the Century, Super Password and Classic Concentration. Of course CBS also had iconic game shows even to this day with The Price Is Right and Let’s Make A Deal.

Bruce, on the Girl Scouts violation moment at 14:39: (violation buzzer sounds, and light bar shows up) "Oh! Oh... You used... Hold on... Oh, yes, you know what, you did. You used the word that is in the word we're giving, Girl Scout. You mentioned girl, and that...oh, I'm so sorry." (beats headphones on podium to show how upset he was for the ladies' side)

I question if the bonus round was really won or not. They kept accepting answers after the 5 seconds passed in the bonus round and they should have moved on to the next contestant? I wonder what the rules specifically said - if the contestant needed to say the words within the 5 second period and not before or after?
@woflover
@woflover 4 года назад
So based on the other ones I've watched, they have accepted this happening in this way before. Basically, as long as the word is said. In this case specifically, Bruce or the producer (whoever was saying "next" during the bonus) didn't actually say "next" for the next contestant, so that also likely played into accepting it.
@LogoMan7777

If the original Party Line (with Gene Rayburn hosting) went ahead as planned for NBC's early 1984 daytime lineup, we would have heard more of Jay Stewart announcing it, including before the end credits: "Some of our departing contestants will receive..." and then conclude with his signature "This is Jay Stewart speaking!"

Zachery Alderton has several different burner accounts, each dumber than the last. One of his schticks is commenting that a rained out ballgame should have been played in any event on the night of the rain out. He even had the nerve to say that the 2018 First Responders Bowl, a game cancelled by lightning, should have been played to completion despite the storm. This even extended to a Cardinals/Cubs game from 2002 _that was postponed due to the death of St. Louis starting pitcher Darryl Kile._
@bmasters1981
@bmasters1981 Год назад
@@DesmondShannon87 Yes, because the phrase being played was "Girl Scouts," and captain Lisa on the ladies' side said, "A little girl in a uniform that sells...", which brought the violation signal (Family Feud buzz-in sound) and light bar on the ladies' podium, because players cannot use words that are part of the word/phrase being played (nor can they repeat words or pantomime). Bruce was very sympathetic, though, about it, but that was, like many games, all down to luck.
