Old school strongman (and Bruce Lee) were honestly so badass, that style of training is slowly starting to come back to popularity now!! Love to see it 🔥
@@bebothebot8141 Dude get the book "Bruce Lee: The Art of Expressing the human body " by John Little ,it has his actual workouts and nutritional methods
6:53 - this method was used by Charles Bronson. He spent most of his life in prison, specifically in solitary confinement with no equipment. But he didn't give up, he didn't complain about that. Instead he became stronger and even wrote a book named Solitary fitness. He proves that we can train anywhere and anytime, no excuses
Everyone talking about Bruce lee the training, and everything else. I'm highly interested in the coffee creamer ad. I've literally never seen coffee creamer meant to be healthier and actually almost a necessity with its nutrition values. That's awesome.
@ParisDemers thank for introducing it, I'm definitely putting an order in. But hell yeah man anything that tastes good and boosts fitness performance is perfect In my book. Especially if it can go with my morning coffee.
To Sum Up Bruce Lee's Training: ISOMETRICS - for Strength PLYOMETRICS (esp Punching/kicking at Fast speeds) - for Speed CALISTHENICS - For overall ATHLETICISM
Bruce was incredibly strong for his size. He could take a 75lb barbell and from a standing position with the barbell held flush against his chest, he could slowly stick his arms out, lock them and hold the barbell there for 20 seconds, that's pretty damn tough for a guy who at the time only weighed 138lbs. I know 200lb weight lifters who can't do that." -Joe Lewis
They're strength was ridiculous as was the Mighty Atom who was even shorter and weighed less but he was bending horseshoes with ease. In the Mighty Atom documentary there was a modern day strongman who was in the top 5 percentile strongest men in the world benching and squatting 600lbs and he couldn't even bend the horseshoe at all because he simply wasn't strong enough
0:34 - the same method was used by Batman in his training and education. He studied at multiple universities and colleges but he only studied subjects that will help him in his career and ignored others
@@BEAST_69 don't worry about it not even to be fussed about really just thought I'd correct you but tbh who knows maybe after Bruce Lee fame maybe they could of added a little bit more of him to Batman ☺️
I am a competitive swimmer (only 13 years old) and I haven't made any of the big championship meets, but my friends are. So I have been looking for amazing workouts, and thank God I stumbled on Bruce Lee's workouts. Thank you for the video, I have a great future ahead of me because of this.
As a fellow swimmer be careful how you train. I think like Bruce took away different things from many disciplines. The best thing we can get from Bruce is training with overcoming isometrics to increase bodily awareness . The rest I would be wary of aside from light weights
I am a Triathlete. Running, Biking and Swimming alone will not lead you to victory. Strength and Conditioning like HIIT, Plyometrics and weight lifting were the hidden secrets to level up.
Wing Chin? You mean Chun. Wong Jack Man didn't challenge Bruce,he was appointed to fight Bruce because the people who were pissed off at him were too old to fight him.
Hey man i really liked the video, may i ask where did you learn about bruce lees training journey and where did you find out about him resorting to speed training or overcoming isometrics? it would be great if you told me about the sources as i myself am really interested about the subject of gaining strength without putting on bulk
What really helped Bruce perform better is that he dropped practicing wing chun by 1970 according to his personal training schedule in the art of expressing the human body and focused more on boxing, kickboxing and weight training. He stopped practicing the wing chun forms by 1968 and by 1969 he told William cheung: "I’ve lost faith in the Chinese classical arts… my line of training is more toward efficient street fighting with everything goes, wearing head gear, gloves, chest guard, shin/knee guards, etc...I’ve named my style jeet kune do, reason for my not sticking to Wing Chun is because I sincerely feel that this style has more to offer regarding efficiency.
Neuromuscular adaptation is about learning to use what you have more effectively. It's not about bodybuilding more muscle tissue, but about making better use of the muscle tissue you already have.
I always feared getting too big, so it caused me to be so inconsistent with my training. My dad isn't massive, massive, but I wanted to be more lean, agile, faster, more athletic, I didn't wanna have too much mass. Gotta try out the ways of the legend Bruce Lee
this may seem odd but im wondering if baki is based on a fictional version of bruce. baki does similar training and most recent technique in the manga refers to bruces method "be like water".
@@jorienwachukwu466 exactly and since they already had some famous appearances and cave men and bringing people back to life I wondered what would Bruce be in the Baki world of brought back🤔 would he be another menace
I'm confused. On bruce Lee's workout plan, the slot where is says "times." Does that mean he did it that many times through the whole workout or the number of times he did it in one set? Anyone know?
@@pandaman1677 its known that he weighted around 125-120 throught late 1972 and 1973, and its also known that he probably weighted the least at the time of his death
I'm 5'6" and the corps boosted me from 130 to 150. I'm now in my mid 30's in rather decent shape (some than average but not a body builder fs) the most I ever weighed was 185 of muscle when I came back from Iraq... Point is, for 5'7" and at 165... Not very thick I think
2:12 here's my problem bro some youtubers say that Bruce lee did all the exercises in that hak keung gymnasium chat very quickly with lighter weight to build strength please reply bro 😢
Me as 16 year old just sleeping in summer and playing Star Wars video games cause they were so good that I had to play them repeatedly and making more skateboarding videos and other content
What were all the books he used in his research? I have been struggling with getting my going with building my strength and want to build my own routine off of the knowledge he used.
It's amazing how many RU-vidrs have claims about Bruce Lees secret life or some hidden training he did. Bruce Lee never went up to 165 lbs in weight and where are you getting this information from? Growing up in the 1970s and 1980,s I was a huge Bruce Lee Fan and read and purchased every magazine that had an article about Bruce Lee in it and every life story novel written about him including one written by his own wife.Never have I ever heard or read anything about Bruce Lee ballooning up to 165lbs.On the opposite he worked out all all the time and worked hard on the movie sets in hot humid conditions and was losing too much weight according to his own brother who said he looked too skinny when he saw him. So please include the resources where you are getting this irformation from.
I’m following one of your programs and started supplementing with creatine. I heard it was a great supplement with high effect on your training. However I noticed no change at all in my training with 5g daily after many weeks. I upped my dose to 10g daily and still notice nothing. Du you know what to do?

wtf this is the second video form this dude where I just want to see him performing the workout and how he holds up and it’s just a long video without that.
Did you try using the search function on my blog page to find the workout? Because I promise you it's there. Over 11,000 people has downloaded the program.
I don't think Wong Jackman was racist , sometimes people in the west do not understand or trample upon sacred eastern teachings or exploit them ,however in present day I find more westerners appreciating, understanding and respecting sacred eastern teachings more than present eastern people who become more westernized and lost all respect for, roles have changed a lot.
