The screaming voices the Bruce Lee produced at the time of strikes is one reason that make him legend, the scream is part of his unique combination, no one has so far touch that level, absolutely amazing voices I love it.
He didn't make those noises. Some of the noises that he makes sound exactly the same so someone may of recorded noises and they reused them in the movies
My TV definitely doesn't love those tho, it's super loud, I watched my very first movie featuring him one random night on TV and I had to lower down the volume because it was fuckin up the frequencies, it was legit giving me ear rape.
He did all his "cat calls" for all his movies except for The Big Boss of which he only did partial voice overs. Bruce in reality never made such "cat calls" when sparring, he adopted them for his movies as he thought it added a sense of dramatic composition to his fight scenes much like the use of his feinting. There are at most 3 different variations of soundtracks for each of his movies that are available today that I know of, - The HK Cantonese VHS, DVD (later some Bluray versions) releases with all of Bruce's original "cat calls" of which he done himself. - The remastered Western English overdub VHS 4.3 Fullscreen, the DVD/Bluray Anamorphic and DVD/Bluray Letterboxed releases of which also has the unaltered original versions of Bruce's "cat calls" as well as voice actor replacements. - And finally the re-released remastered English overdubbed version DVD/Bluray with voice actor replacements and partial "cat calls" from Bruce. This is entirely dependent on the studio, some studios are faithful to the source material and release their versions with original unaltered audio, others feel the need to alter or add unnecessary overdubs, dialog and even change or alter the movies music soundtrack... For example, the Walter Hill movie "The Warriors" (Directors "mess" Cut). Bruce's pitch never changed until later around the time ETD was filmed, you can hear his original "calls" in certain episodes of "The Green Hornet" a scene from "Marlow", he has also had guest appearances in the TV series "Longstreet".
Chuck Norris was shit in films, but good in real life. I don't understand the Chuck Norris hype at all. He didn't inspire me one bit. Black Belt Jones, on the other hand... 👀 "ooooiiiiiieeeeeeee!!"
@@1Flyingfist Bruce Lee was Good at many things, and streeet fighting to the death was what he trained for, need it be! Its better to have it and not need it,than to need it and not have it!!! "SKILLS"
@@1Flyingfist that’s cuz most of his films wasted his talent. Pretty much any martial artist in Hollywood got their talent wasted. Van Damme, Cynthia Rothrock, Scott Adkins, etc. seems only China knows how to utilize their skill sets.
If he did do those sounds I think he did it to mock the opponent to mess with their minds as they got angry and lost focus. Otherwise cool way to scare the shit out of people as you beat them down.
"They" Always try to discredit BRUCE LEE,anyway they can, call it jealousy maybe!? Who knows! :) What Next, tht wasnt really BRUCE LEE in the video,it was a stunt actor in all scenes,Bruce was just a actor for facial images? lol
Maybe his hair was face and his acting lol maybe his name and life was fake hmmm, they try to make everything about him seem "FAKE" like he wasnt a real badass that trained his whole life, studied, learned, taught his mind, what he wanted, and gets discredited for everything he did cause "white mans ways/rules" -.- .l.
Bruce Lee s scream were probably not his voice. He admitted in the 1971 Pierre Berton Show that as he spoke no mandarin, he was dubbed. And no sound was recorded on set. Plus when you pay attention, Bruce Lee s screams started when he went back in Hong Kong. Before (Green Hornet, Longstreet or Marlowe) the sound is not that high and very different: his real voice
0:22 does everyone knows how is this gesture called? And if it's a legit move in any martial art whatsoever, because I saw it a 1000 times in the cartoons I used to watch so I'm quite curious, I searched online and it didn't give much information, only the fact that it's the "bring it on" movie trope, but I'm still searching for more in-depth answers.
I got a question why I go over yt and other fighters are low key bashing him is it cus they’re jealous or Bruce lee can really fight? Like for example ppl needa start realizing Chinese mma fight scenes are real but yea they added extra non sense for entertainment they do real life scenarios for combat in movie scenes but ppl tend to jus pick on the stuff they add for entertainment kinda bothers me that ppl bash Chinese mma movies you can learn a lot from Chinese movies in my opinion erase the extra shit but at the same time our Chinese mma artists culture influenced games like mortal Kombat dbz naruto etc I can keep going Ik this long but I’m tryna open ppl eyes at the same time nbs
