Jean-Marc.
Dear mr.Bruce Liu thank you for such a beautiful. and sublime interpretation of Chopin's secon concerto Your technique is perfect and at the same time so rich in expression and romanticism. You are exquisite and no less than a young genius.I wish you a lot of success in the future.
It is impressive that every time Bruce collaborating with the orchestra, all the musicians are smiling. That I think is because the charisma from Bruce's nature. And you can see how much they are enjoying each other. Bravo!
He says in the interview that he has worked with them before and that it's like coming home, and it literally is since Montreal is his hometown. I'm sure they're all very proud of the hometown boy who has become an international sensation.
He's Canadian. They speak french and English. Belgians do even better...they go for 4 languages, and many of them study Latin and Greek when young as well.
Born in Paris to Chinese parents from Beijing and moved to Canada at aged 6, Bruce lives in Canadian French spoken area-Montreal. Mandarin and French are his mother tongues and English is his second language.@@RockinTheDub
Dear Mr. Bruce Liu thank you for such a beautiful and sublime performance of Chopin's 2nd concerto. Your playing is perfect in every aspect: technique, expression, romanticism.I wish you a lot of success in the future..
I feel so blessed to be able to have my heart lifted by your music no matter where you are in the world. THANK YOU for always sharing your gift to each of us 💐
Dear Bruce your interpretation hit straight my hearth, never had before such emotion. You are still so young and so mature. Im waiting ro hear what wonders youll offer us in future
A pure happiness to listent to him playing Chopin. I have to buy his CD about Tchaikovsky, ’i listened Lugansky and Lim on stage,’je suis curieuse de sentir son’interpretation😮🎉🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🎶🎶🎶
Bruce Lew has a unique ability to imbue the smallest fragments of musical fabric with meaning. In this performance delightful sonic variety and flexibility of phrasing are combined with excellent taste and a sensitive sense of musical timing. The conductor, orchestra and soloist breathed absolutely together. There was a feeling of poetry, a little drama and elegant high salon in finale, in general -purity of style. Thank you Bruce! Bravo!!!
I was blessed the day I first heard him play the piano. It transported me to another dimension. Bruce was rewarded with thunderous applause in his hometown. My impression is that he always has a distance from the audience's reactions, and therein lies his wisdom. L👏👏👏👏👏
Weiter so, lieber Bruce ❤
oh thank you so much for sharing this, i have looked for this by bruce playing but i don't know where to find but now i could listen to this masterpice by his playing thank u so muchh😍🥰
wonderful! personally, I prefer this concerto no.2 than the first one. it sounds more like a real concerto. I have yet to hear it LIVE.....maybe one day. 😍
Lol the modern pianist, when interviewed. Limited to regurgitating theory, history, and subjectivisms. No innovation can happen in music if we perpetually ignore every other aspect of the music, and remain attached to the subjective, assuming the only objective variables are the theory and history.
Do it better, I'm sure you'll impress everyone so much that Arthur Rubinstein will rise from his grave and buy you a beer. Even better: You're so awesome and you compose your own piano concerto and Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven float, their souls fly around you and she idolizes you as the king of the earth
