Amazing interview. In the darkness of Covid plus my widowhood, when my heart blocks, I listen to The Boss and I literally feel my heart re-opening. Bruce, you are my repairman. Your honesty, modesty, truths and honour code make you my blessing and that of thousands of other fans. Somehow you make us feel you know us individually and you give again and again. We will always give back to you with love and respect. Thank you for giving us our voice and right to exist. Bless you and yours.

So, even though we've chosen different roads in life, Bruce still speaks to my dreamer side. Listening to him in the 70's, headphones on in my parents dining room,loving the poetry of life, I grew in years to realize the difference between idealism and realism. Idealism is great in songs,poetry,even film but these are for dreams only. Realism is real life, dealing with real problems with eyes open. Not how things would be ideally, but how they really are. I love listening to much of his music, dreaming...but then I'm able to return to the real world and deal. Thanks for the music, but you've not a clue how to address America's problems,so stay away from politics.

I think this is a very good and interesting interview for all fans +... It feels like a deep conversation between friends. The interviewer really achieves to get Bruce to deliver honest insights into his art, his life story and his creative gift. Bruce seems to finally have come to terms with his own legendary status and at the same time he remains incredibly humble and down to earth. Looking so much forward to finally get to listen to the entire 'Letter to you' album from Bruce and the E-streeters tomorrow!

Thanks for showing younger people still have some manners. 😊👍 Edit; After having watched the interview I have to say that I find his way of implying answers in his questions somewhat impolite. He also speaks in a manner as if he had a position (of knowledge and experience) equal to Bruce. What do you think?

Bruce's music was and is special. He's not the best at this or that, but no doubt he's one of the biggest musicians who ever walked the Earth. His poetry and music takes you in a special place you never knew existed, sometime in the 70s when the world was different, but his songs really transcend time without being abstract. That's a reason why I love each album. I love this interview because the questions are genuine. It's thorough and it's what I would've asked. But it's missing one question - it's waves or sways?

Interesting that you say that, getting back to a place you love because I just listened to House of a Thousand Guitars for the first time and thought that Bruce's voice and his guitar are my life, so many good memories, growing up and growing old. That's a beautiful song and I'm thrilled theres another album coming and I assume soon a tour, god willing. ❤

Soooooo, the interviewer, Zane Lowe, goes on and on about being "such a fan" and then asks Springsteen a question about how it was -- for him & his bandmate friends -- when he went off on his own, creatively, right after the "Born to Run" album. As a viewer, I was groping around in my memory thinking, "Springsteen" did a solo effort after "Born to Run"? I thought he mostly toured with his band while waiting for the lawsuit with his old manager to be settled, and that he then recorded "Darkness...". Then, Springsteen (also confused, at first) smoothly segued into a proper point of time that might make the interviewer's question sound less informed. Gooonya, Springsteen! Zane: as a former interviewer myself, I can only say: get a new job, or let someone who DOES know the subject matter do the interview next time! (Just finished the interview -- had to get outside in the real world with my dog. :). ) and I was pleasantly suprised (no pun intended) to hear Springsteen say that "Surprise, Surprise" is the one song that came out "whole" from something he dreamed. If the interviewer had been familiar with it, he could've asked what I always wondered: was/is there a big connection to Federici in that song? It seems to me that there is.

Bruce, we here can't help "falling in love with you" :) You give us joy even when you dive into grief and pain, and loneliness, cause you help us see that love and heartache, joy and sorrow, finding and losing, are the two faces of the same coin. Or, that this is the profundity and the curse of our human lives, being able to face our mortality and to reflect on it, observe it, challenging it, confronting it, in a perpetual search for a balance between our creative, vital instinct and our (self) destructive one, always on the edge of this "thin, thin line". Probably it is a balance that can only last a few moments, and that is reached by all of us trough different means, tools, level of efforts and results, and with different motivations and purposes. But, what beautiful "frescos" these attempts compose all together 😊 Lovely interview by a nice and truly passionate interviewer, I wish in my country, It, we were still giving space to similar professionals on mainstream media:( ... Oh, and it's beautiful that you are singing also when you speak Bruce💗

I am a massive fan of Bruce. Saw him twice live.... for the Born in the USA tour and for the Magic tour.. and he played like over 2,5 hours. My son could not believe his energy for the Magic tour show. One of the best bands.... and the Boss. This album is going to be a monster. Will take over from where Magic took off and the live off the floor. Ghosts is a classic. Would really love to experience him live again. The most unselfish of all performers. Gives himself completely on record and live especially. Long live the Boss and the E Street Band. Tino
