I was there and he didn't just tear the house down, he tore the whole fuckin arena down! So incredible to see two timeless, living legends on the same stage. What a special and memorable moment!
Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen is a killer combination 🎉🎉. They are sounding freaking amazing 🎉🎉2 icons playing music together and they always sound awesome 🎉🎉
The Boss is, of course, a singer, songwriter and performer. He's also a first rate composer, arranger, and band leader. And, the front man for the best band in the world.
The heart-stopping, pants-dropping, hard-rocking, booty-shaking, love-making, earth-quaking, Viagra-taking, justifying, death-defying, legendary E Street Band.
I'm originally from New York but I was raised in New Jersey and I can honestly say the answer is yes it is possible to be fans of both of these incredible gentlemen!!!!!!
I don't care who you are or where you're from but if your entire body doesn't turn into one giant goose pimple when the line "Tramps like us Baby we were born to run" gets sung by Bruce Springsteen AND Billy Joel then you're just not human. Being a Philly gal this was the G'damn anthem of my youth. #whyyesiwasatthestoneponyin76 #70steenager
I'd be honored if some Billy Joel fans would check out my acoustic piano & vocal covers of his classic compositions ALLENTOWN and VIENNA on my channel in tribute to the master. Live acoustic with no autotune. Thanks and pardon the plug.
Brilliant video last night at MSG. Billy is the first artiste to play 100 shows there! And Bruce helped him celebrate. Now Billy plays every month at MSG we want to come over from the UK & see him for thr 3rd time. Also we await a major tour in the future for Bruce, & I want to finally see him in the US. Wish he would bring that Broadway show to London. Still, two great guys on stage toghether!!!
I'm no spring chicken but, these guys are showing age!! LOL....Bruce walks gingerly. All those 3 hour shows for 3 decades have caught up to him. Go easy gentlemen, we want you around for a long time.
Those two together have brought me more smiles, more motivation, more consoling, more fire, more comfort....need I go on? So awesome that they got to share such a great moment together. I'm sure they are equally grateful. Rock on boys!
I think this could be #1 on my all time concert experience list. And if you go through my channel, you know I go to a lot of concerts. It was amazing! And to be so close...
there is nothing like Bruce in concert, love him, have seen many times but is has been too long, (sure miss "the big man", Clarence) love Billy Joel too , great that he had him join him.
Now I wasn't there in 2009 for the 25th Anniversary of The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame when two of my Favorite All Time Artists Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel performed together! Though I did purchase the DVD and still pop it on for mood altering affect. But I purchased an early ticket to Springsteen On Broadway and as much as I wanted to go the price offers on the tickets were going through the roof so I tripled my money and then checked into Billy Joel's once a month sold out soiree at MSG now I saw Billy here in Tampa back in March but I gambled that Bruce's show on Broadway is just a hop skip and a jump from THE GARDEN and bought the 100th Sold Out Show and as i slipped my way down from the Upper Deck of Madison Square Garden as I used to do with my late brother Frank at Ranger and Knick games I weaseled and connived my way to the centrifuge of standing room ring siders and watched the King Of Long Island co-joined in Rock Concert Rapture with THE BOSS of Jersey for Tenth Avenue Freeze Out and Born To Run; I looked up to the rafters of the Garden and said JESUS TAKE ME NOW IT DON'T GET NO BETTER!
When I bought the ticket for Billy's 100th Garden show and they said "Special Guests", the only thing I was hoping for was Bruce. When I found out that Bruce was taping a 3:PM special matinee of his Broadway show and NOT the usual 8:PM performance, my hopes magnified. I was SO happy to be there last night to witness this. I got to see Bruce appear with McCartney (also at the Garden) last year, and now this! I may not be able to afford the Broadway show, but at least I AM getting to see the BOSS!!
I was there. Easily the best concert of my entire life, and I've seen some really good performers before, including Elton. But this one just blew me away.
As soon as I got home, I went on RU-vid to see if anyone posted this video. Thank you for posting this! I'm guessing you were one of the lucky ones to get a seat upgrade lol. What a night to be sitting front row!
Had Floor Section E Row 11 Seat 3 for last night but just as I was going out to get dinner to bring back to eat before departing for the show my 99 1/2 year young mom had a mini-stroke right in front of me and obviously family first. Happy to say she is doing great, home right now after helping her eat her lunch and now eating my own lunch but returning to the hospital to help her eat her dinner in a couple of hours so thank you very much Dennis Farrell for allowing me the next best thing and seeing/hearing what was obviously a moment to treasure.
great video. loved it. I have to say, at the beginning, Bruce was moving around a little like an old man. Of course, he is turning 69 this year....so I guess I should cut him some slack.
Is it my impression or Bruce is doing some slow movements? Like walking and moving his arms slow. Hope he is okay. I think I'm watching so much 2013 videos, he is so different!
