Bruce Springsteen - Freedom Cadence 

Who's here because of the movie, thanks for your service? Absolutely a great film. Thank you to everyone who has served and is still serving and those who lost their lives while serving, I take my hat off to you all. Much respect and much love.

We sang this cadence when I was in basic and AIT. Then I went to the real Army and learned the true meaning of this cadence. I will always miss my brothers who gave their lives so we may live ours and I pray one day I will see them again. I will never allow the freedom they paid for to be taken with out a fight and if that day should ever come I hope my brother welcome me with open arms knowing I gave my all!

I love this song and it relates to me I also had a brother in Iraq who died and I'm currently in afghanistan fighting the Taliban so I completely can relate to this song and I listen to it when I go to sleep thank you for your service Bruce and I love all of my brothers and sisters

I fought in Afghanistan, I just watched the Netflix movie "Thank You for Your Service," and heard this song reading the closing credits. This song is accurate, so was the movie #PTSD #SeizureDisorder

I was in Iraq, 2003. I’m a Brit, but served in a team with US Army and USMC bods. I also love the Boss. The movie, and this song left me a messy bucket of tears.

I watched a movie called Thanks for your service and in the end this song played at the very first word I heard I knew I had to search this song

I saw the end of Thank You for your Service where this song was playing, and it weighs heavily how much we take for granted on what our soldiers have sacrificed and sacrificing. This song rings true freedom isnt free but fought at the barrel of a gun, thank you to all enlisted personal i pray we never take your sacrifices in vain # military lives

There are so many low quality videos with this audio out there and a bunch of comments asking for a better version. I'll go through a few of them and share this. Thank you to those of you that carried the freedom of your fellow countrymen on your shoulders.

I'm here because we sung this when I was in basic training alot.

I just came on this video while watching cadences. I have to say it hit me hard, as my family has served in the military, and all its conflicts since 1912. I have an Uncle memorialized on the Menin Gate, and a Grandfather who survived Ypres, only to be taken POW at the age of 16. another Uncle of that generation survived all of WW1 and served as an Officer in WW2. One Uncle went rogue and Joined the RCN. serving for the duration of WW2 1 Uncle served in Korea and another in West Germany during the Cold War Father and Uncle served as reservists during the ColdWar, and my brothers and I all joined the RCN, the other 2 seeing service during the both Gulf Wars.My family has shed blood for freedom, and most of us promised our lives for freedom. We have paid our dues, and yet now my son serves.... of course i feel this.

Thank each and every one of yall that fought for this country living an the ones who have past on THANK YOU !!🙏🏼

Film is awesome. Without our military sacrifices we wouldn’t be the country we are today. Salute and hats off to all who wore the uniform!

That moment when you aren't even from the states but this song makes you feel patriotic for them but no seriously God bless our brothers and sisters serving in militaries all over the world and those who have died protecting freedom

i've either been in or supported; DS2, Panama, Grenada, Rwanda, Beruit, storms and floods as an airlifter - i've shipped what was left and picked up the whole. i've been shot at, spit at, cursed at, and praised. but what do you say when someone who has NO clue, "thank you for your service" - they never understand - we don't do it for the glory - and we definitely don't do it for mom, the flag, or apple pie either. we do it for each other. (just venting after the movie on TV and the song. this guy has done alot for us Vets and he's hardly recognized for it - i think it's about time he was!!!!!)

I would sing a variation of this cadence when I was in ROTC marching my cadets everyone loved it I could see the impact it made on peoples faces how they rethought about their freedom always made me emotional when marching them.

When i was a black rope in tech school i sang this song sometimes while marching. Sometimes it didnt work though because it was hard getting the cadence right for the 100 people marching with me, so i got a lot of hate for that. But it was better than singing about freaking jody 😂
