I saw 3 shows of that tour... Largo twice and Philly and they were bigger venues and the man was on fire. If he got even better in the small venues you mention, I'm glad I missed it. My heart may have given out completely.
Agreed 100000%. Buuut, since we can’t turn back time, gotta enjoy what happened since then. Metlife 2016, last night 4 hous and 12 minutes, no break, epic show. Or should I say EPIC SHOW. Find the highlights, when he went from Incident into Rosie, about one note before that the crowd realized and ROARED. Special night
He is really THE BOSS!!!This man is a live-concert man...I saw him at Ullevi -85,-03 and -05 and it was MAGIC.....-85 he rock so much they have to re-built Ullevi...03 he was very very very good...and when he came back in -08 on july 5 he was playing a very different play-list compare to july 4....and he play many songs that he not do often..but I love it...
Even though the quality of the sound and tape is poor, this is still unbelievable. The energy, every members character/personality, playful, humor and choreography. Blows my mind how people disagrees Bruce and the band being the greatest in live history
On this day in 1975 {September 23rd} Bruce performed the 'Detroit Medley' for the first time; of course it was in Michigan, at the Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor... It was also his 26th birthday, which means the Boss is 64 years old as of today... Happy Birthday!!!
The first time I saw was at the Meadowlands in 1984 for the last of the ten shows on the Born the the USA tour. He did this following Born to Run and with the Asburyt Jukes horn section in tow. Just absolutely blew the doors off the place.
This is a time capsule for sure. Theres no mistaking the era . he wore those blue jeans right out . One of the last of those great live performers that aimed to please every last customer in the house
Saw Bruce again live last night after 25 years! Glendale, AZ 4/3/09. Last saw him at Iowa State on 11/16/1984. He played Detroit Medley. Wished he'd done it again last night!
This is kind silly, but does anyone else think Patti is chanelling Jem (like, the 80s cartoon) in this video? This whole video is so awesomely 80s. Thanks for the upload!
oit medly... I just joined a Springsteen cover band called The River Street band as Roy... they are based out of Toronto... look for us coming to a town near you!
MEMO TO RU-vid: Unfortunately I couldn't rate this clip as the highest possible rating is "Awesome". I would like RU-vid to add a 6th star rating and call it "BROOOOOOCE!!!"
