I remember seeing him back in the day at Winterland and even more locally (on an Introspective level); What makes Bruce so unique is that he really connects with you personally (helps you through all of the hard times in your life) through his songs and words. He does that for everyone, and still today. Can't bear the thought of him not being here

I have a friend who told me that whenever Bruce talks she feels like she should be taking notes. He has gained an incredible amount of wisdom working through his personal problems, and he seems happy to let us benefit from his life lessons.

I’ve been a fan since the 70s...own all his albums, CDs, DVDs, etc. seen him multiple times in concert. This album is, to me, his best work since Born to Run. I’ve had it playing in my car on repeat for several months now and can’t wait to see this film!
I've seen him multiple times & each time he played 4 hours ! I was hoping this big tour he's on now would hit Texas but it's not. Hopefully it's not his last.

In the music business more of them don't make it into.old age than do. A hard life living on the road constantly, with a late day work schedule, numerous pressures---and many health damaging ways to cope with it all.
Dude, some people never have a destructive "part" in their life. They live, they create, they move on without hurting anyone in the mean time. Pretty amazing your relationship with your wife ! Congrats about that ! Very unique in your lifestyle.
I would recommend reading Bruce's autobiography. He is clinically depressed. He has to take psych meds to even get out of bed. His dad was a physically and mentally abusive bipolar manic depressant who lost almost all of his hearing in a plastics factory. You NEVER GET OVER CHILDHOOD TRAUMA at this level. You just get better at dealing with it. He goes into great detail about it in his book. Most people I know are struggling with demons from the past. You never get over it. Some of us are fortunate enough to have been given a better hand than others. Thank God he met Patti, because I don't know if Bruce would be alive if he hadn't met a female musician who understood that he was using 4 hour concerts to get back at his dad, and that while it enthralled the audience, it was destructive towards himself because he wasn't dealing with the issues.
The poet of our time - thank God he and Patti made it and stayed together - their is no love without pain - and so many people in our culture just don't get it.

...depuis les années 70... watching, listening, growing old with him from afar. What's not to love? A purely beautiful old soul. When my now adult sons were just wee lil men, one said: "mum, if Bruce wouldda know'd you, he'd really like you" And then the other chimed in saying : "yep, he'd probly love you.... much as whole world, like us" . There are souls that connect...and those that just "are" harmonious without intersection. Ce n'est pas nécessaire.
It's kinda weird when you're from the same town and live in the same town as Bruce Springsteen. Bc it's just normal for us, Bruce is always in town, at the local business just normal things.

I saw Bruce at Villanova University before his first album came out . It was in a theater in the basement of a dorm that a friend lived in . It was free and there weren’t many people there . He was great then and ever since then 😊

theres never one single fix in living. only at the end when death comes do your options become singular in nature. repair is very similar to grow. maintenance and moving forward. i know things i wish that i didn't know for another 50 years. but accidents teach fast lessons sometimes no matter the blame or fault. lessons though can make a person envy the more ons they once had inside them.
It's been 5 decades the musicians I've witnessed as a teenager and many have survived and sing on. It didn't come without costs no different than the ordinary. We only have 100 years and it's closing in at warp speed!
IN alcoholics anonymous, one of the keys to reaching that point where you are whole ,a key point is to give away what you have received as you cannot keep it unless you give it away. It's a fun, beautiful documentary. Bruce gives 💯 percent as always but he delivers in a new way. Also trying to see him on the screen was to me less hectic than trying to get concert tickets. And I listened to the new music on vinyl, then saw the documentary last weekend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bruce writers music from his heart and soul , what he brings to it , his religion his wisdom ,believes ,love family. The stories behind his music. He’s is a caring giving person. He’s a simple man for being in his profession he has no problem with walking around his home down seeing someone sitting playing guitar 🎸 he will sit down beside them who is trying to make a few dollars playing singing Bruce will ask if he can join in toss some money in the guitar case . One occasion he did this left and came back bringing one of his own guitar , so this person is so happy lucky to have had this happened by the Boss . For me I am praying the Boss does tour with the E Street Band ,My husband played a tape of Bruce springsteen and Bob Seger on our first date . I lost my husband almost 6 years ago and the depression anxiety I have gone though was crazy . Bruces book helped me when he talked about his depression and it occurred to me to try listening to him and Bob at night my headphones were on my CD was playing and I could finally fall asleep and wasn’t waking up every 2 hrs having anxiety attack. This past February I saw Bob for the first time in concert, now I am waiting and praying I will get to see Bruce and the E Street Band live as for all the ones I have gone to, Bruce springsteen is going to hopefully be my last one . If he doesn’t tour guess what I will have to take a trip to Jersey and pray I have the honor of running into him . If needed I will carry a guitar and ask him to sing Born To Run and Hungry Heart 2 of the main songs by late husband would sing , and hopefully if this is the only way to see Bruce I hope Patti is with him . I love the way they are on stage together I have watched all his concerts and music videos when I am in pain and down on ice packs. I would love to even have the chance to talk with them, as I love seeing them still in love , as I had this for 37 years with my husband, I joke it being born in September as my husbands birthday was a couple of weeks before Bruce’s. if neither of this doesn’t happen I guess I have to pull a Bruce and try and go ring the doorbell. Lol 😂 but I love his music and how it speaks to you and like I feel they are no words to how much his fans Love him and if I am driving my car only plays Bruce springsteen so as I tell people I am under the influence of Bruce springsteen and the E Street band . Did that lady realy had to ask why everybody is calling Bruce The Boss? I also saw this question a short while ago on YT, thought, must be a young fan. I've learned that the young onces don't know that. I've aswered here on YT, that 'the Boss' came from a crew- or band member, when another one asked him something. He simply answered with "ask the boss". This was decades ago. Bruce himself started his band, he was their boss and payed their salary. Not only the band, the stage builders when Bruce and the E-streeband are touring too. For the entire the crew, Bruce is their boss. It's their job and Bruce has to pay them to do their job. It's that simple. I realy thought that everybody, at least his long time fans, all knew that. I've learned, that most ppl, even fans, realy thought 'The Boss in Rock' as MJ was called 'The King of pop'.
Saw Bruce twice in concert during The River tour, 1980, in Los Angeles. He played for just shy of four hours each time. Left the crowd cheering for more. Seemed like 45 minutes each time.

Probably millions of guys in New Jersey or New York City have at one time or another, if only briefly, dreamed about what it would be like to be a cowboy out west. Bruce just decided to stay in New Jersey and sort of live out that dream.
