I was homeless in a car with my pet dogs, the police came and arrested me for no reason, took the car and put my dogs in a pound, but a friend rescued us and now doing post graduate music university and writing songs inspired by songs like this

The original version was quite short. I am from Uganda, 27 years old. I always see homeless and jobless people in our streets in Kampala and feel like crying, I have just got a job after 5 years of being unemployed. its a low-paying job but I know one day I'll get a better one. I see on the streets homeless and jobless lads, but I believe one day God will change their stories too. I'm quite young but am addicted to classical music. This song will forever stay rent-free in my head.

I was almost homeless but for friends whom all lent me a sofa to sleep on...saving me from the streets..and although it was a long time ago I'm exceptionally grateful to those friends whom gave me warmth and shelter...and refused to let me walk the streets. I could not stay at home. This can happen to anyone anywhere at any time..ive met some very interesting homeless people and that is why this song touches my heart and soul..And I thank God for all the kindness shown to me...😊❤

My Dad was patient, what really is the most damaging is the fact that a psychiatrist was trusted in my case and not told earlier enough to back damages and die.
Had been sleeping in a car for one night in a foreign country... that night changed my life as nothing before , I was humbled by the situation, but it's keep me pushing today... I was lucky one , so many people do not have energy and motivation, others are disabled or mentally ill... one never knows what tomorrow brings, but we all can have some faith... I was lucky one...
A fella lived in his car just up the street from our home. I took him cases of water during hot weather and restaurant gift cards. He said he had enough blankets when offered those in cold weather. This went on for more than 5 years. We gave him paperwork to obtain housing but he told me he “didn’t like any of those places”. After a period of not seeing him, I inquired at the donut shop that allowed him to use their bathroom. I was told he had been taken to the hospital, then he self-released and died, alone, in a field while making his way back to his car. RIP Mike.

I am an AIDS survivor but two of my best friends could not make it. I still remember when i looked at yhe mirror i couldn't remember myself. Now i am a cancer survivor from Prostate cancer, Stage 4B with Gleason score 5+5 and bone metastasiss. Life is challenging.
