Bruckner Symphony No. 2 (Organ Transcription), Hansjörg Albrecht (organ) 

Judging from the majority of the comments below, one wonders why anyone would even ATTEMPT to fit the vast complexity and sonorities of Bruckner's Second Symphony (which the composer intended be performed by a suitably large orchestra) into the very tight and limited confines of a single-player church organ - it's like hoping to fit an ocean liner inside one's modest-sized home - it simply can't be done. This noble performance by Hansjörg Albrecht, despite his demonstrably fine musicianship and deep appreciation for Bruckner's music, has regrettably earned him at best faint praise here, despite the fact that he clearly poured his heart and soul into it.

Bruckner doesn't work on the organ. It cannot come even close to the richness of his orchestral textures, especially not with only one organist. You would need two organists and the vast resources of the Wanamaker organ (its String division alone is bigger than the Willis at the Drome!) to do justice to it. This is a valiant attempt, and the Willis sounds fantastic, but... no.
