Bruges travel Vlog, A fairytale town. 

We went on another adventure...As you know I am 73 and never was able to travel and now I'm old and sick. So these adventures are like heaven for me. I am traveling and seeing places thru you and it is so much fun. I loved your room. Oh my that is beautiful and the tub. I was out of breath with you on those stairs :-) and the one gift shop was so you, I said out loud, oh my this is Catherine. I was amazed at the bikes left out and not touched or stolen, and the beauty of everywhere. I too hated the torture museum. It is hard to think people can be so cruel. Thank you for the lovely traveling. I had so much fun. I also loved loved loved all of your dresses. Beautiful dresses for sure. Thank you. I wonder how Cherry beer taste and that waffle was fantastic to look at. I'm going to have to make me a waffle tomorrow morning. lol Thank you Catherine. Loved it.

Oh thecopper/ brass and porcelain bathtub! The storage closet/ linen closet with the light green doors, Love the detailing on them and they had a key in the keyhole. the flowers outside! So lovely.... I would buy flower bulbs also. Perennials, so they would come back every year and bloom. There's a lady I used to work with. She had beds and beds and beds of daylilies. She had so many, she had the name of each flower bed and what color they were. She said, I'm cleaning out my flower beds would you like some of the flowers and the bulbs. I said YES! Thank you! We went and got about 12 bags if not more. The next year they multiplied even more. When they bloomed in the spring I was just WOW!! There was yellow, pink, dark pink, white, and orange, red, pink and white mixed. Many other colors. It was so amazing.... She sold her house years later and we almost purchased it. I wish we could have. It looked like a doll house on the inside, it really was beautiful.

Finally getting to curl up with a tea and watch your travels. So so lovely. You captured everything like being right there with you. Gorgeous guest house, fabulous bath. Oh my goodness, the tea cup and tea pots...☺️ and that shabby chic shop...the chocolate shop...❤️❤️❤️, love it all. The editing was spot on and the buildings and land scape were beautiful. It looks so peaceful and calm. When you said it was a safe place, then you had a picture of a bike with a package still on the handles, well, guess it's a safe place to leave that there, with no worries of it been stolen. Bruges is a beautiful city. And your room, wow, it was like you were in a period painting. It surely felt like you were in a fairytale. Loved seeing all the sights Catherine, esp the shops and all the dainties. So lovely. Your pink teapot (is it an Aga cooker?) is adorable. And i enjoy seeing your dresses too. I doubt I"d have made it up those 360 something steps! But the view was incredible. I love the houses, and the roof line; they are elegant with their steepness and such. I'd have never gotten to see Bruges had it not been for you. Thank you for going to the trouble and taking the time to make these videos and share them here. Can't wait to see the rest of the treasures that came home with you. Psst That waffle looked sooo yummy. 💗💗

Hi Sweetie! Oh the fond memories that my sister and parents had on our trip to Bruges. We went there in 2013 and it was absolutely amazing! We walked almost the same places you did and visited some of the same shops. I brought back some pink champagne and some little trinkets too, but I live in Canada and I didn't want anything to break while heading back home. I really regret it now though. We are definitely going back someday. I love your videos and vlogs! You are so lovely! All the best!!

Oh my goodness, Catherine! This reminded me so much of my stay in Amsterdam this summer. I absolutely love places with history and charm! One of my favorite things I did over there was find a botanical garden and read a book (mostly people watch too). I love that clip you had with the shop with the wall of clay flower pots!
