Brunch at New Cathay Coffeeshop we found something new & yummy | Pulau Tikus, Penang Food Adventure 

Join us for a delightful brunch at New Cathay Coffeeshop in Pulau Tikus! Located on Burmah Road opposite the Immaculate Conception Church, New Cathay Kopitiam is a popular breakfast spot open every day except Sunday.
Today, I brought Ailsa and Isaac along to explore the variety of delicious local hawker stalls. From char kway teow, wanthan mee, koay teow th'ng, curry mee, Hokkien mee, to kway chap, there's something for everyone. This place is a gem because almost every offering here is good and delicious. We also tried something we haven't had before: Seaweed popiah! Freshly made and full of crunch, it was so delicious and the kids loved it. And it is vegetarian!
While parking can be a bit scarce, the wait is definitely worth it. We had an amazing time tasting all the local favorites and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling kopitiam.
