Evergreen vegetarian restaurant is 1 of the best in Penang, aside from Lily's. They used to have another brand a few blocks away from Qually's at Jalan Masjid Negeri (Green Lane), but they have since closed, as the landlord wanted the house back.
There's another stall around King street called "Chopper Board". You may have heard of this place many moons back. Do give this place a shot on your next trip. 😃

Can usually find further away around Lebuh Gereja, Lebuh Penang, Bishop Street side bro... Nearer to Lebuh Pasar gets more crowded. I love walking around Little India.
Always like to see you having great food with your family i was in Penang 6 months ago but did not go to most of the places hopefully i m able to come back to Penang and stay longer and try to see you also a good choice for you return to Malaysia .Keep up the good work.
Thank you, there are tons of good places to eat I guess, no right or wrong and depends on one's taste. Some places have become hyped up and very touristy! I just prefer the more laid back and relaced spots hehehe
The total bill for 2 Indian breakfasts came out to be RM16 (US $ 4.00 for 2 persons) is really reasonable. It is nice that Malaysia, like SG, is a melting pot. All different cultures and food come together. They make life more interesting. Thank you for the VLOG.
The Pocket 3 has a feature called Object Tracking, so it will actually follow me around if I set the tracking to myself. It is quite convenient especially when vlogging!
The best foods are all in side stalls, kopitiams, warungs and simple restaurants. Lots of youngsters today only want to dine at trendy cafes and are missing out a lot
We still have small scale biscuit bakeries here... there is one in Air Itam I used to go to. Unfortunately people prefer to buy the more shiny and colourful biscuits nowadays... I hope these old school bakeries can stay alive.

Yes, I used to frequent this place many many years back when I was staying in Penang and the Mee Goreng is even much better than some mamak stores. The wanton mee is also very good. You should try their sui kow. FYI, the wanton mee stall is now runned by Maria's sons (the 2 young chap there) and at 8.29, Maria (in the yellow printed blouse) is actually sitted at the front table!
Ya I see Auntie Maria sitting at the kopitiam, sometimes she does a few plates... hope her two sons take over the business for the future generations to eat! The Uncle who used to fry the mee goreng also passed away a few years ago. Now the wife and son took over.
