I really enjoy how you approach this like a documentarian, but also get very specific about one single vineyard. Watching your content is a singular experience that educates on broad subjects, and then zeros in on particular vintners with great detail. Very enjoyable. (and having just finished your Valipocella doc) too short! 50 minutes, please! 😅
You are talented at telling the story of Italy's fine wines, history, and culture. My Dad during WWII was with the 10th Mountain Division. They went through the Apennines and battled in Montalcino along with many other towns. As an MP he brought General Hays a lot of Italian wines many cases of Montalcino. I hiked through this area as I followed their path from Mt. Belvedere to the Dolomites. Ciao
@@kenlewis4524 thank you for your kind words and sharing that story! I’m amazed by how wine somehow weaves itself into history and continues to do so… cheers
I enjoyed the video. Thirty years ago I was bitten by the wine collecting bug and I just recently started to deep dive into Italian wines. I wish I had started earlier.
thank you for your efforts in creating such a high quality and informative video. we are going to tuscany to visit multiple wineries and this video is one of the most informative we've watched.
