I really enjoyed your look at Brunswick. When I was young I so interested in Harriet Tubman and the underground railroad. I really like how you incorporate so many historical aspects into the places you visit. Wonderful share 😊

Harriet Tubman was an amazing person with an amazing story. I love to share a bit of the history I learn with you. I usually go places and completely research a place to understand how It came to be. I always struggle with how much to share before it turns into a history vlog. 😆 I appreciate that you enjoy it. Maybe I'm not so bad at creating a balance between show and tell. I love hearing from you. Thanks for your support. 💙

I grew up in Georgia. The Civil War always lingered in the background. Many antebellum homes and pre colonel, especially in Savannah. I had a friend visit from California who was shocked that we still had segregated cemeteries. There's a heaviness in the south. Maybe a lingering sadness. I've always been drawn to New England. I have many thoughts on slavery Especially the transatlantic slave trade. It's a great evil that humanity ever thought it was acceptable.

Agreed. It's unthinkable that humans thought that owning other humans was acceptable. It's interesting that we are one country, but people don't understand how the institution of slavery defines the culture of a region even until this very moment. New England certainly has great vibes. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.
