Thanks so much! I had the exact same noise problem. Love that you're showing your son to figure out how to fix things, save money, and fight planned obsolescence :) His excitement and "It's fixed!" is heartwarming!
Thanks. Ours was awful and this fixed it for a while. It is still a bit noisy but not nearly as bad. Really just trying to extend the life and it worked. It has moved to my downstairs vac and I got a Eufy Robo Vac 11S for the upstairs. Good price and seems to be a good vac.
@@thefixer8387 Ours is about 3 years old and has run fairly well until recently. I ordered the replacement motor and bought another DeeBot, so we can use the older one in the basement. A few days later, looked at the Eufy at Target. Looks like a much better vac. I guess we'll see how long this newer Deebot lasts and keep the Eufy in mind for next time...
I have the same problem apparently ... terrible noise and your video will help to know how to dissasembly ... Can you tell me where you order your motor? Here in my country don ´t have suuport from Deebot
@@thefixer8387 Great video! Just following up to see if you can tell us the seller and Amazon title/description. I haven't been able to find it and I'm hoping to buy a replacement now that I have my Deebot taken apart and all over my kitchen table.
@@jamessitar3340 Very sorry it took this long to add the link to the motor. It turns out I remembered it incorrectly, I got it on eBay rather than Amazon. I will add the link in the description.
