I checked over all the hardware. Everything felt ok to run, but some screws felt a little bit on the loose side. Taking out the flex shaft will require heat and a better quality driver. I don't want to strip the grub screw, so that will be done after the first run for sure. There are also what looks like 6 screws total on the coupler, so I'll start with the 2 on the end and hope that's it. I thought so, too.. but it's honestly pretty slow for a 3S boat. I think the older version was closer to box speed, but this thing only did 19mph for me. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to a shallow pond to test out mods. I have 1500mah 100c CNHL packs, 70A Flycolor ESC and a 32mm prop from Offshore Electrics on there now 👍FLBG4L!

The holes on the left side and the battery placement make it so the boat never gets stuck upside down 🙂 although, you gotta watch out for battery life and sometimes you can lose a prop. I was just gonna get a fishing pole for now, but most boat guys have a rescue boat

Ahh wltoys and their lets superglue the grub screws trick,they will run on 5s, but I dont know who told you they not meant to turn left? Thats nonsense ,be sure the radio works lots of these lose radio and go out of control.

Thanks, I was just skimming through a lot of comments about F1 tunnel hulls and someone said they always race clockwise because of the design of the boat.. maybe I'm wrong, or the guy was specifically talking about the RC version.. but thanks for letting me know about the glue! I'll try to run it close to shore so hopefully it doesn't go across the lake 😁

@@scaleworksRC my friend did a review on the miniature construction company , lots of delay on his remote ,but is a good boat normally.Malaysian crew have run them on 4 and 5 s stock , get some great speeds, but they defo can turn left !
