I use to work at castle as a solder assembler building ESC. I am into slot cars and find it very awesome that people have found a way to use brushless systems to run slot cars. I really think it would be cool to build one.
Thank you for the interest. Yes brushless technology has been used it slot cars since 2014. It can easily be adapted to a drag car. All the download software is here on this channel and it’s free!
@@taterchip7752 It greatly depends on the application you plan on using. I’m using Outrunner motors in all my applications lately, with no problems. If you want reach out to me at brushlessslotcar@ @gmail.com.
Thank you for your interest. The brushless Outrunner motor has 2 ball bearings in the state housing for support. I did add a bearing to the back axel carrier for support too. It’s a stainless steel shaft doesn’t vibrate at all.
Hello thank you for your interest. The track in this video is an Outlaw 1/8 mile. It’s 31 feet of race….that’s 3 1/2 feet longer than a 27 foot 1/8th. So times will be quicker compared to this and your results will vary! Welcome to the Brushless Revolution.
