Redcat Racing to find these Lowriders www.redcatraci... Amazon link to Hobbywing 1080 ESC but this is a popular ESC most hobby shop have them on hand. www.amazon.com...
My Monte runs so nice and quiet with the 1080 esc and the castle BEC has the servos juiced up! Thanks for making these videos and thanks sharing your knowledge and answering questions. Much love bro 🫡
Excellent Video. Thank You! I definitely want to purchase the hobby wing 1080 speed controller for my 64 Impala. My question is, will the LED lights from red cat still function as they do with the red cat speed controller? Will the hobby wing speed controller still properly activate the brakes and reverse LEDs? Would be cool to see a video with the red cat lights and the hobby wing 1080. Keep the excellent videos coming!
what servos do you have are they the reefs 300 can you make a video of them both hopping I put dual servos in 64 and bought the reef 300 want to know if it is worth getting for the rear I have the monte carlo I want to make hop
I run AGF-RC servos A81BHP in front and SA33 Rear. These are basically clone Premium Reefs 300 servos. AGF-RC manufacturers Reefs servos ;) they 30$ USD cheaper than Reefs servos and DHL shipping in 7 days. They also have what seems like a clone of the Gold Reefs 300 for 50$ USD I have 2 in shipping to run some test. I did some comparisons of Reefs 300 vs AGF-RC A81BHP. Basically Clones ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uSn3g3Tpyrg.html

Thanks for the video. Question 🙋♂️ is the 10.80 hobbywing plug and play or does it require programming or anything? FYI the whole RC hobby is still new to me but I’m a quick learner, so if possible plz respond in the lamest terms possible… kinda like speaking to a smart child 😂
No stress. It's almost plug and play. The connectors to the motor is all good. What you will need to do is solder a connector for the battery. The original is garbage so uts good time to upgrade connector to XT60 This something most hobby shop do and it's like 20$. They should also have plenty of XT60 connectors on hand as they the most popular connector right now. New batteries and esc we always put on a XT60 connector however more and more battery these days come with XT60 connector. Glad to help anytime and thanks for the support
@@NorthSideCustomRC Hey wssssap. So I have soldering kit, the Hobbywing 1080 esc, and a castle bec-n-link and I’m ready to get to work. But it dawned on me when I program the bec to 8.4 so my servos get full power, that I also have the Redcat light kit coming off the receiver. Do you think that high voltage fry the light kit?
@@NorthSideCustomRC I’m curious to if I could plug the light kit directly on the esc where the program card plugs in that it would supply power to it. I plan to leave the esc at 6.0 since it’s only will be powering the motor. You know low and slow 😆
