@@andym28 Well It's kinda hard on these festivals. I'm pretty sure if this was solo show of the band people would go much more crazy. But you are spending 4 days and nights there, every day seeing many shows from noon to midnight. It's just not humanly possible to go hard all the time. That would take lot of drugs and heart attacks to do that.
Are you kidding me with this drummer.. That is just absolutely remarkable to be able to play with that speed and precision live... What a sick musician
felex maldonado where is the groove half of the songs are just how many different blast can i do at this exact same tempo before i switch to double kicks and occasional snare lmfao
@@nahdontevenstart 3:04 (TerrorVision) 6:07 (Deep Red) 7:32 (Deep Red) 10:50 (Cadavarous Banquet) But these songs, especially TerrorVision and Cadavarous, are some of the least groovy songs from Aborted.. Coffin Upon Coffin, Of Scabs and Boils, Visceral Despondency etc. are all better representations of that, but Aborted puts more weight on being dynamic, than locking into a groove for a full song.
Other YT pages need to learn from BA on how to film and actually upload the same quality both video and audio wise. A lot gets bad in the process of uploading for many. BA knows how to do this shit. Thanks for the video guys, I am so happy I got to see Aborted!!
Agree mate. I'd say all festivals should learn everything from them. I'm from Brazil and have been only to BA but for sure this is one of the best festivals around the globe.
Yeah, I think more live shows need to take the actual sound from the soundboard and record that, for the video. Instead of having some shitty camera audio.
@@SuicidalGrind This is not the direct soundboard stereo-audio the people at the show heard ^^. This is definitely mixed from the ground up from the multitracks they recorded there for this video. Live mixing for a PA-sound and mixing for a live-video are 2 different beasts. Especially with dense stuff like Aborted.
@@Muten1 Excuse me what? Pardon? The live show audio all goes into the mixer guy's mixerboard or whatever that's called, recording that directly is perfect for these things. The drums if you think that's why it's mixed are used with either really tight drum head tunings or triggers. There's no way you're telling me they record audio at home and replicate it because that'd be ridiculous.
As a person who wears glasses and works with his hands I appreciate the way the drummer didn't miss a beat while pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. He is quite an impressive musician!
Been listening to extreme metal for 20 years, seen over a hundred concerts, 200+ bands and this includes Aborted 5 times and I am telling you, best friggin live band ever. Unbelievable.
That's because they never go home...like ever, I bet even during the pandemic they were probably touring Antarctica to groups of circlepitting penguins-im not a huge fan I follow the drummer Ken and I know full well they are one of the hardest working bands out their though
OMFG!!! What A BLAST!!! incredible sound mix & filming that increases the high level the band already have. All bands nowadays should be blessed with the same luck. Crappy live sounds can ruin easily an excellent band filmed by smartphones.
Great live video for a great band... Six years ago I had the honour to share the stage with the bass player, Stefano Franceschini (very nice fellow, by the way), and his other band, Hideous Divinity, an incredible god-tier act as well
Saw these guys for the first time in 2019. Sven has an incredible stage presence and he gets involved with the fans. One of the most energetic shows i've had the pleasure of experiencing.
Ken should get some tinting done on his glasses so he then could properly have a nap whilst playing!!!! Makes it look so easy, believe it isn’t. Respect 🎶
I assume the festival is going in some kinda 2 year algorithm. 80% chance they will play again in 2021. Never the year after they played. Check the previous lineups, it adds up.
@@andrejromic99 Yeah I noticed that but... they sound so fucking good jajaja! Still, there are plenty of good bands to be announced for the upcoming BA, I'm crossing fingers for Chelsea Wolfe and Hideous Divinity
@@andrejromic99 Gutalax and Sacred Reich are playing there every year. Still waiting for Morbid Angel, 1349 or Malevolent Creation instead of those hardcore/nu metal crappy bands that are becoming regulars there.
Today, Aborted stated that they won't tour anywhere near as much as they did this year in 2020 - they'll focus on writing the follow-up to TerrorVision >:)
Seen them 4 times in 2 years, 3 times from November 2018 - November 2019.. always a night to remember, because of their dynamic songwriting with tempo changes, breakdowns, crushing riffs, tasty solos, Ken's AWESOME spicy drumming and Sven's vocals (those inhaled growls) as well as his hyperactive stage presence. Hope to see them with Dying Fetus one day, the ultimate "fuck the baby, let it die" gig!
