He would have every reason to be burnt out after all these years, and i don't think he makes much money from touring, so i guess for him it's like a work holiday or something :)
@@Admiral_Bongo They're one of the most succesful, sure, but still not as successful as Cannibal Corpse/Morbid Angel/Obituary, so i would not be surprised if being in a band at the Nile level (big in death metal, but not huge either) could be a bit tight revenue-wise (also : don't forget that bands make money mostly from touring now, and Nile doesn't seem to tour as much as they used to, or at least not more, while album sales (and revenue) have dropped significantly). I'm not saying you can't make a decent living by being in Nile. I'm just saying it's very likely that it can be tight money-wise.
Chickenwomp obviously some people think that. And if we were to do a little research, we would discover that the general demographic of metal musicians and metal fans is young
The Mist I’m sorry but your sentence is even less useful. There are significantly more death metal bands and death metal fans that have come around since the 80’s and 90’s. Most metal fans are young. Most metal bands are also young. If the band is good, they might stick around for a while like some of the older bands you alluded to
@@jammies4aminal metal yes but this kind of death metal? rather not. all the fans of the 90s are still around and they don't go away that quickly. The young ones usually tend to listen to those Core genres. i'm not saying that a nile audience consists only of geezers but to call it a young man's game for this style of metal....nah, don't think that cuts it
The best thing a band can do live is look like they are having fun. Despite being a brutal, evil sounding band, these guys are smiling at eachother and moving to the beat, and seem like they are having the time of their lives. I cant wait to see these guys live in person.
Zech Evans it’s intimidating if your a musician I’ve seen them about 5 times and I study the techniques it makes you feel you’ll never get to their level but you will, they also sound just like the cd never seen a bad show even with about 4 different bass players and singers
I saw them in 2013 during their 20th anniversary tour, and it was one of the tightest, most brutal shows I've ever been to, and I have been to a LOT of extreme metal shows. Easily one of the best live bands around.
Kinda lost interest after Dallas left, but this really caught me by surprise. That new guitarist sounds pretty fucking close to Dallas. This whole thing is incredibly tight. I almost shed a tear.
Karl Sanders is what, 54 now?And still killing it as only he can! I enjoyed the hell out of this video, and this is maybe the most animated I've ever seen them onstage--the fist bump between Karl and the bassist says it all and shows that I think this is the happiest and most excited lineup of Nile I've ever seen, and I've seen them live many a time in the last 17 years or so.
I talked to Karl for a few minutes after the second live show they had played with England, and he was in a great mood. He told me he hadn’t been this excited about the band since they turned into a 4-piece. So, if he’s that excited then hopefully it means good things to come.
This was on the Thursday, 10th of August, 7PM. The show was amazing, Nile smashed the crowd. At 3 were Cryptopsy, then Nile, at 10 Emperor and at 12 Suffocation. So, you could eat and drink in peace without losing any of these. As Lou Reed said "Such a perfect daayyy"
Few years ago, when Nile was in my city i went to the venue, had my coffee (I dont drink alcohol). Dallas came around, sat on the other side of the bar, ordered coffee and was trying to relax a bit (travelling with a band is quite exhausting thing). Few people came around, asked him for photos and to sign their albums. He clearly looked tired, so i left him alone to relax.
Top quality as always, the only live metal channel on youtube that provides best audio mixes. Once you see Brutal Assault notification you know it's top stuff.
You can clearly hear the bass dumbass. It doesn't have to overpower everything but to add nice low end and still be clear and you can clearly hear the attack of the bass as well as the sustain itself.
Easily one of the best live performances and recordings of Nile. Just what, two songs? Just from that, so much greatness: male-bonding moment, triple-vocal attack, George's drumming! Good lord. Amongst other things (everything he does), I love his use of the little splash cymbals, adding little off-beat accents here and there. Gives his playing spontaneity. Top-notch live death metal.
I've followed Nile throughout their entire career, been to all their tours, bought all their albums. Proud fan of a unique band one of the very few and the best to focus on ancient Egypt.
I had my reservations about the new guy when seeing Nile on the Overkill tour last year, but damn, as soon as they hit they stage, he quickly won me over.
You guys just upload consistently well sounding, well mixed live tracks. Thank you so much for that! If something from Brutal Assault is in my suggestions I know it will be high quality. Really outstanding. Incredible performance too. You can tell they are having fun performing in this location and in front of that crowd.
@@djabthrash lol NO. Slayer's solos are nonsense but the NIle solos make total sense if slowed down. it's just ridiculously fast and therefore just noise for most. ever covered a solo of them? try it and you will see.
@@abeigor8671 that's the thing with Nile, you can't resist smiling watching them play. Just look at them here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--zJvuntfBKA.html
Damn! i had to shove my hands here. Theres four amazing things going on: 1 - Seeing the three Nile's vocals in action 2 - Karl's riffs 3 - The general atmosphere 4 -.......And That Brutal Bar at the bottom!!!!!!!! I wonder about the staff working on there, and in general all in that Festival.
I’ve watched a lot of live videos on RU-vid and this is hands down the best I’ve seen. Everyone up there just shredding and growling together and it’s so incredibly tight
Brad and Karl's chemistry on stage is surreal. Being a band that has gone through many bass players, I truly hope Brad is here for the long haul. I as well as many others, I'm sure were gutted when Dallas announced his departure from the band. Brian though has definitely proved he is the only other person on earth for his replacement. His voice is absolutely identical to Dallas', which is what I'm sure most fans were worried about. Vile Nilotic Rites has become one of my favorite albums from this fantastic band and I pray to the non-existent god that this line up is the final one until Karl lays this endeavor to rest. ALL HAIL NILE!
I'm really amazed of how rejuvenated Nile seems with this new line-up. Old line-up was great, but this is fantastic! Looking forward to an album with these badass motherf'ers.
HAIL NILE!! FUCKING HELL YESSS!! I NEED TO SEE THIS BAND LIVE SOOO BAD!!! THEY ALWAYS PUMP ME UP!! I can't believe the audience are standing still there instead of busting their heads and moshing with these majestic songs.
