not really, It has a glitch for almost months now that SSG gets fked after reload and doesn't work creator of this mod knows that but still its there for months.

First of all, I want to thank you for all the hard work with the additional weapons. I tested almost all of them on LZDoom v3.87c, and they worked perfectly! Thank you very much for all the fun provided! =D Secondly, does the "Dox778's personalized Brutal Doom v21" package work on LZDoom v3.87c? @@Dox778 I want to register that "DoxsPersonalizedAddon16.03.2021quickfix4.1" worked perfectly in LZDoom v3.87c! ^^ However, the "PERS-ADDON" of all your weapons, unfortunately, did not work, an error occurred when I tried to load these files. =( On the other hand, the weapon files, for example: "DoxsRevolver" and etc... Worked perfectly! =D
Might be because the PERS-ADDON versions include a change that's not supported by your LZDoom version. If you're not using first person legs in my addon, then you don't even need the patches.
You've got to enable it in the addon's gameplay options, it's one of the first ones. After that, you just press the weapon special key and voila - sneaky. Unfortunately, it replaces the dual wield for pistols.
huh, as a person who for some reason hasn’t played brutal doom in doom 2 yet, I find it weird that the mg42 doesn’t fire super fast, the rpm really doesn’t look like 1200 (though it would be possible to make it higher if there was a different bolt)
dude your addon is great but can you please change the speed of the shotgun when using the iron sights, shooting faster is better. don't make the weapons slower.
I like more the vanilla look of the axe without the wood bit, that aside it looks like a really good mod, im downloading it and editing this comment when i do so edit: it is awesome, fuck it im going to spend more time playing this it's damn good
Hey man quick question! I just found your standalone addon that doesn't need vanilla brutal doom to work and it's pretty sick! I was wondering though, does it work with other brutal doom weapon addons (like the ripper, masterminds chaingun etc)? I'm also curious if you plan to continue to update this so that it stays up to date with vanilla brutal as well, and if there will be more addons for it? I'm loving it so far :D My only "complaint" is that it seems to lag my PC while using more than vanilla brutal, and i'm just wondering if that's a setting or something else?
Actually, any weapon addon should work. It's just that addons not made for this version specifically won't show first person legs, so if you don't care about first person legs - any up to date BD weapon addon should work. As for performance... hm... maybe try toying around with the options?
@@Dox778 Awesome, i'll test a few out and see how it goes :D I'm happy you made that standalone, i was not able to use your personal addon at all for some reason, no matter what order i would load in it wouldn't work for me, but with the standalone it does ^_^ Man i want to see so many more weapons in this thing, you should aim to make it as big as project brutality. If anyone can i think it's you :D
@@Dox778 I actually have a few specific weapons in mind that if you brought them over to this, there'd be almost no reason to play PB 3.0, because this would have almost all of the high tier sexy weapons without the horrendous strain on most PCs that you get with PB lol.
im not adding anymore new weapons though. at least not as separate guns, they'll be alternative firemodes for existing ones if i ever do something like that.
@@Dox778 Fair enough :) I like having alternate fire modes as well, makes each weapon feel extra spicy heh. To be honest the only one that i REALLY miss from PB 3.0 is the commander super shotgun, all of those different shells are pretty nice to have.
Why are the sprites so inconsistent? The ready-to-fire sprites look completely different than the reloading ones. I know making sprites is hard, but how do you end up spriting something completely different? Not saying that one gun sprite is worse than the other, it's just that it doesn't look like the same gun at all...

Eww, there are really people who loved that ballsack sling under the shotgun? SgtMark removed it because literally no one liked it and yet I see it again in another mod based on his work
@@Dox778 Is the "shotvolver" in general any good whatsoever for the mod? The revolver from Tomtefar's extension add-on kicks like a mule and can almost 1Hkill a Hell Knight.
