BRUTAL DOOM Arthur Edition is a fork of Brutal Doom v21 that adds tons of new weapons (this is by far my the longest weapon showcase video because there is a plenty of stuff to be found). Not only you have standard weapons available to find in already big quantity, but most of them also have a different ammunition type and/or a firemode. To standard weapons you might also find additional items dropped only by enemies such as Cyberdemon's Missile Launcher or Spider Mastermind's Autocannon/Chaingun. To make things even more interesting you might also pick up the stationary Heavy Machine Gun (if you are under effect of Berserk Pack) and move till ammunition runs dry. Heck, you even can construct a Triple Minigun after picking up three of them. You may find way more things while playing this mod such as robotic companions with Plasma Rifles, Riot Shields, Nuclear ammunition, craftable Armors and even a Demonic Spellbook!

There is this add-on that make all the enemys you explode drop some healt and ammo... Im testing the Arthur Edition with this on Plutonia and higest difficultie, because Why Not? Now Plutonia in ultra nighmare is walk on the park... Do you like TNT? I dont have the wad 'cause i bough my Doom trilogy in a store of a chinese that doesnt speak portuguese very well and for a price suspiciouly low, it worth to buy Ultimate Doom on Steam for TNT?

Man, this mod makes Project Brutality feel like a walk in the park lol All tho, i'm not a fan of adding a tons of weapons in to the game because, you add them but, how do you use them? I mean, you will have to create situation, when you need to use those weapons. Otherwise, you will just find one useful, that will deal with everything, and you will be using it, like, forever. And that is my problem with Project Brutality. I found only few weapons to be useful, and that been Nailgun, HK Rifle, Plasma Gun, Auto Shotgun, Rocket Launcher and BFG. I never use everything else besides those weapons. Sure, there is moments when i ran out of ammo for those guns, or when i don't have those guns, or some of those guns, and thus i need to use something else, but then again, after i get those missing guns and ammo for them, everything else becomes not important. And man, Nailgun in Project Brutality is a ultimate killing weapon. You can kill everything with it. The only problem is, that it uses too much ammo/nails.
That was my problem with project brutality, there are a lot of weapons and you end up using only about 5. All the gameplay I see is like that too, many of the weapons are for decoration. But my mod tries to fix this, I made sure that each weapon has its pros and cons, I still drew heavily on hideous destructor with the carry weight system. Also each slot has a different ammo, so the BFGs don't use the plasma cells and you can still use them. The nailgun was difficult, I always found it very OP, initially I removed it from the mod, but then I had the brilliant idea to create special ammo for some weapons, like slug, explosive shells and nails, they can all be used with the Slot 7 weapons, such as sniper (slug), revolver (explosive) and buzzsaw (nails). I'm glad you're enjoying the mod!
@@arthurbalen4715 Well, i didn't tried your mod yet because, i have enough mods for me to play. But i will give it a try because, i see some cool guns in there. All tho, like i said, i'm not a big fan of adding tons of guns in to the game.
I might be in the minority but I'd like to see a brutal doom Minecraft wad where the pickups are different levels of Minecraft weapon, like instead of a bfg you can get the nether world sword
I think this guy was using the cheat code iddqd witch is god mode and idkfa with gives all guns and melee or maybe he did not but still very good gameplay and a good mod
@@kaledmarrero1011 I'm missing my own point here. I'm interested in the HD textures. Which I can't seem to get working on Platinum. I got it working on the standard Doom game but then it crashes after about 30 secs each time. But still can't get the HD textures in Platinum.
