I'm seeing so much good content on this new doom game. Doom 2016 was a fun time, but I wasn't super crazy over it. I'll check this one out on a sale I'm sure. Great video my dude

"A whole new can of hurt." Yes. Yes it bloody well is. It strikes that balance of being a real challenge, but being so satisfying to rip through that final enemy and clear that combat area. Interesting to hear the perspective of someone who wasn't super hype for the game, or would say they're a FPS fan. Great video my dude 👍

This game looks brutal on my normal difficulty choice for the series being Nightmare, but I can't wait to finally give it a go! Really enjoyed your perspective though, from someone whose number 1 gaming genre isn't first person shooters. I love the genre but it's great to know, that for the most part Doom Eternal is a game many can enjoy :)

Absolutely, I tried to give this game a fair assessment knowing my skill level with FPSes isn't great. I can't imagine playing on Nightmare mode myself, but I know plenty of people who live for that kind of challenge, and the base game is entertaining enough for my tastes.

I recommend starting on Ultra Violent. With the game’s current buggy-ish state and learning curve, Nightmare is more frustrating to start on than it is fun (on consoles at least)

@@solomon9655 It will be a while before I pick the game up (unfortunately my backlog is big enough as is right now) so hopefully by then the bugs are less of an issue but I will keep that in mind when I get around to the game

The one thing that I am not a fan in with doom is the platforming, it just doesnt flow sometimes and is stupid hard. You did really nice on this review! Great job i dropped you some support!

If you render your videos in 1440p (even if they're 1080p) they'll get a higher bitrate from youtube and not look as grainy. I had to do that with my Doom video.

Good to know. I didn't really notice any graininess myself, but I didn't fully pay attention when watching this on RU-vid and probably didn't notice the compression.

On a scale from the lego games to God Hand how difficult would you say the game is?

It was certainly a challenge for me, but I know I'm not the most skilled player. So I always take that into account when evaluating difficulty. It felt like a 9/10 when I was playing because of how much the game throws at you, but maybe looking back it's probably more like an 8/10 for difficulty. That's my perspective, though.
