@BERNTHGuitarAcademy unfortunately the course is not for me, I've purchased it today, but I would like to do a refund, how could I process it? Thank you in advance, I couldn't find this info on the official site
Except if you make mistakes he can’t see you and correct as needed, resulting in the build of bad habits that could potentially be very hard to get rid of. I hope it’s not the case though
I find that vibrato is a huge differentiator. When people knock a guy for "mindless shredding", I often see that the player often has a terrible vibrato and their playing sounds hectic and chaotic because of that.
Even recording your self playing guitar through a phone will help a lot with timing.. that’s what I do and I can really tell when I’m rushing or dragging
Such a good analogy. Got really quite good, with lots of potential... but then did nothing to build on it for 25 years....and gradually became a sloppy blues dad, raking & stabbing at strings..
One of the Best things about you is that you realized your Status from the young years. Demanded of yourself to fix yourself. And from your own trials you have created these quality courses and Videos. As always thanks Bernth.
I am completely self taught and I find your videos and Ola England’s videos super helpful… I am not joining a band, but I like getting better, so I appreciate your content… so thank you! 😊
literally nobody needs this course dont buy online courses unless its ur job u dont need to be the best shredder ever play to make urself happy music is not a sport
I remember when I first started being self taught and if I had to choose my favorite, I started doing it by accident when obsessively learning Elliott Smith songs. Later when I got more serious about my playing, I’ve always loved the neoclassical style and the phrase used was “secondary dominant”. When playing in a chord progression it’s using a major chord in a minor 3rd. A 5 v of 5.
Man, this past like...5 years or so, ive completely lost my passion for music. I am self-taught so i dont actually know all that much realistically, i dont find any new music that makes me want to pick up the guitar and try to learn it anymore, im always working and would rather spend my precious few hours of free time playing video games with my wife than practice guitar, or language, or anything i used to do. Life is just too draining and at 28, im no better than when i left highschool a decade ago..
Self taught. If you do not count the 100 or more other guitar players I've jammed with. 90% I considered more advanced. I must be learning because everything you said made sense
But playing is so much more fun than practicing :( It does feel really good when practice yields noticeable rewards. You just gotta trust in the method!
I use your lessons on RU-vid for theory and practice. While it’s helped me improve it’s not where I want to be. 5the new course your offering is it compatible for use on an iPhone? I have no computer and use my phone for everything. I don’t want to order the course only to find out it’s incompatible with my phone. I do plan on getting a computer recording setup so I can record original material and lessons to practice but til then would this work?
well.. i am such one after my 13 weeks. i doing the same since week 8.. sometimes have something new, then i have a thing added.. or change a bit.. but thats me haha
It’s the guitar, what you know is never enough. The wises person admits they know nothing and is an open book An idiots thinks they know everything and won’t listen to advice
This is exactly the answer for those questions, “Am I too old to learn guitar?”. The answer is usually “Yes”because with age comes responsibility and working adults, with kids, have less free time to dedicate to their practice.
I listen to all kinds of music, and play all kinds of music. Ive never dressed like a freak to seem as in the culture of any music. I guess thats why people freak out when i bust out lyrics from anything
