I totally agree with everything you said. The door handles are Shitty should’ve at least been like what’s on the Lamborghini huracan. Alot more carbon fiber instead of the cheap plastic more carbon would make more sense for the price.The steering wheel can use a new upgrade also.
Whether anyone thinks this guy is lame from the Netflix race show or that he has goofy glasses, he’s out there doing his sh**, living his life, and he’s honest about his opinion of this car, so respect to that. The key, door handle and mirrors are all the same as my C63S pre-facelift. I agree 100%, for $300k, should look more exotic. It’s fine to have those things on my C63S, bc I didn’t pay 6 digits for it. Owners of this car, in the long run will be happy for resale value, but I’m sure they can’t help but get annoyed by the thought that even a MF’en Nissan GTR has a more unique door handle than this car lol.
I agree with him 100% about the cheap parts bin door handle and mirrors. This is a track purpose car so AMG's priority was it's performance. Plus - correct me if I'm wrong, - Every Black Series built uses regular door handles and mirrors. (some with carbon fiber mirror covers) For such a low production car, to design and tooling new "more expensive" door handles would not be cost effective. That is why Lotus Esprit used Toyota Corolla tail lights or the Aston Martin Virage (old school) used VW Scirroco tail lights. The list goes on. This car is targeted to a niche customer who doesn't care about impressing people with expensive trim. Owners will be tracking the car I hope and not care about the "subpar" trim. AMG did spend a fortune re-engineering the engine with a flat plane crank! That is not cheap and it's OK because again, the put money for performance not bling.
the older c63 and clk63 were not shit cars lol idk what the fuck are you talking about. this new black series looks riced out and doesn’t have that clean subtle amg touch like the older models did.
Great job Pejman. As a lucky GT BS owner I agree with a lot of your assessments like the great daily drive, the poor exhaust sound and the old key cover. As you said it's one hell of a nice looking car and in my opinion it'll go down as one of the best if not the best Black Series supercars produced by AMG. As for the exhaust I have no doubt an AMG aftermarket approved product will show up soon. Having said that the sound was really cool and unique at high speeds during my recent AMG driving event in Germany. I was also speechless by the unbelievable performance and handling of this amazing beast in full wet conditions. All my doubts vanished completely! Keep up the good work and enjoy it with good health!
