i am 15 years old and ive been wanting a 04 wrx since i was 4 I remember the first time i saw a wrc blue with gold wheels it was love at first sight and i made enough money from working hard and stuff to buy my very own wrc blue wrx sti DONT GIVE UP ON DREAMS CHASE YOUR DREAMS MAKE THEM REALITY
@@firstnamelastname5540 stis are dog sh!t unless you put 40k in aftermarket parts in them , and theyre normal traffic. dont waste your time when there are much better cars out there😘
holy fuck bro sounds so good ! I want to tune mine to stage 2+ I have a 2019 STI you think if I got invidia catless dp and accessport and boost controller it will be reliable? Im also getting it pro tuned
As long as you have a good tuner then the catless dp will be fine... I've been catless for over a year now with no issues. I would recommend looking into the Cobb FPR as well as a good intake system, all those mods together should put you right around 300awhp on 93 oct
yea i have those on mine and its great. just don't go doing laugh control all the time and abusing it. that's where it breaks. if you are looking to do that then you have to mod the internals also. otherwise its a great ride...
@@ripslim24 yes there is a catted downpipe you can buy from cobb and they have catted and resonated as well, they're just more expensive than the catless version
@@burritogaming8733 that’s false. Only time you burn valves or valve seats is with too little timing on HIGH load, since this is deceleration and there’s virtually no load, it’s pretty much harmless unless you got cats.
@@peanutbutterchicken4867 Like I said, extreme burble tunes. Light crackle and pops? Fine. Your engine will likely survive. On the other hand, I’ve seen countless failures due to some jackwad tuner dumping an absurd amount of fuel and negative timing, ultimately ending up with burnt valves / broken valve seats, or on the extreme end, having detonation occur & boom. Rod knock. End of the day, tune ( or choose your tuner) wisely; your vehicle will surely last longer
@@peanutbutterchicken4867dont go around giving false info. All burble tunes can and will cause premature engine failure. Theres nothing cool about it either cause its wasted fuel. Notice, anyone who is driving thier car to go fast dont get these tunes for a reason.
Sucks the engines are just so unreliable. Was between an STI and a Focus RS for me, 8/10 of the STI's or WRX's I looked at already had the motor replaced. There was one with like 40-50k miles on it iirc that had to have the engine swapped under warranty. Decided on a Focus RS after that.
Yeah. I had a subie. Now i got a volvo. Volvo for life. Its like a subaru but with a nicer interior and they are easier to work on imo. Extremely reliable, my daily s60r is at 234k miles and every winter i take it out snow drifting. During the summer i track it. And its still the orginal motor and drive train.
