I’m from a poor family, I’m 15 and I worked hard and bought my 1996 Impreza non turbo hatch myself for 2k, and if I keep saving I’ll have enough money to sti swap the motor and trans before I get my license. Sorry if it sounds like I’m bragging, I just want to tell kids that they can achieve big things if they start off young and get a casual job early while they’re at school

@@samkercher8381 i was kinda memeing when I wrote that, dw though I know what it's like to work hard for the car I wanted. The first car I ever bought was a 1996 wrx v limited 1/1000. It was fully stock and even though it had quiet the mileage it still pulled hard. I only owned it for 2-3 months before it got stolen, lucky I have insurance but after costs I lost about $2k :( It's allgood now I got me a 1997 wrx v4 fully stock except for an apexi muffler and those classic gold speedline rims. It seems to have a body kit that I've only ever seen on sti's so she's pretty unique. I also got the engine fully rebuilt with forged pistons so she's driving like an absolute beast atm

LeggoMySweggo a straight pipe makes the turbo louder, the whistle comes from the turbine side of the turbo, not the compressor side. BOV's sound nice but if you're aiming for performance you generally want to avoid them unless it's fully recirculating. I heard(haven't been able to confirm if this is true or not) but you'll run much leaner with a BOV.
