Somebody else probably already explained this, but The Rolling Giant is not entirely just a meme, its based off of a real statue that was meant to resemble a botanist named "Julian Reverchon." The statue itself was made for an event that was called the "Parade of the Giants" and it took place in Texas, The Reverchon statue was left in an old mall called Valley View Center before the start of its eventual demolition a while back. Its been made a bit more famous since Kane Pixels made a series called The Oldest View featuring a shockingly accurate CGI recreation of both the mall and the statue. There is a lot more that I haven't explained yet, but I encourage anyone who is interested to give Kane's series a watch.

I think when they brought the rolling giant into their modpack they looked up the bestiary data on it. It was several months ago. Also Seigi geting pwned by the yippie was the awesomest thing I've seen in their content runs, Control Company or not.

In terms of pure atmospheric feel it's the Siren head mod, the noises it makes that are especially amplified when it's foggy or stormy make everything freaky and unsettling. When it comes to pure scare factor, I'd say the shy guy is pretty terrifying, especially when you're lost and happen to look at him. Those are my two personal favorites so far, Jared Leto (forgot the actual name of what it's based on) is also rather horrifying due to the unsettling figure and expression.

I know a lot of people love the loot bug ganking Seigi, but I think an underrated moment is where Max revealed he was using Control Company to him and asked who to kill, and instead of being like "So you DID shoot me as a loot bug." Seigi immediately started thinking "Hmm! Who do I choose to die? Decisions decisions."
