Brutus talk us through the making of their upcoming new album 'Unison Life', set for release on October 21st. From the initial writing and recording process in lockdown and getting musical inspiration from artists like The Cranberries to choosing a title and writing the single 'Dust', this is how the band put together their third studio album.

One of the few bands I can say I enjoy all their tracks. Their live album was a diamond in a sea of gold. I really wish they had a bigger following they deserve it.

I think like a lot of people I found Brutus when I watched War (Live at Rain City). So happy the almighty Algorithm brought to me and I clicked on it. Can’t wait for the new album and they are a bucket list band for me to see live. I recommend Brutus to everyone.

I here this band on Spotify , like new music playlist. I listen to the playlist each day, it updates each week, but every time liar plays, I pull my phone out to look at this bands name. Every time. I think I’m addicted to Brutus.

I have infinite love for these three human beings and their music ❤Saw them live at the beginning of June and it was my first concert after the pandemic. It really felt like watching a live band for the first time in your life. I won't ever forget that night. In 2021 I started a band with some old friends/band mates and Brutus has a huge influence on the music I write in that band. I'm really looking forward to the new album.

Since the beginning they are so good. I discovered them while listening to their recent work. Loved it and of course went to listen their older stuff. Is more punk ish but it's still great

I listen to a lot of music and I like some songs from near every genre. My heart beats for (extreme) metal, from classic to black metal, but now a band from Belgium has taken root at its core! I hope you come to a Germany tour soon, I will try to visit more than one concert.

these folks here are good enough musicians to where they don’t have to do a lot of takes to get something right like Stephanie was saying it’s just a matter of feeding off of each other’s energy. Being a musician myself I understand that on a personal level. Also I really like the idea of opening the album with what was originally going to be the closer because it gives us an idea of what to expect and what we’re aiming for which sometimes it’s nice to have that when you’re diving into some thing. After hearing these guys in the rainbow six game I was hooked. I would love to see them live and to maybe meet them somehow. But I don’t know I don’t think I’ll be able to probably because they don’t visit a little small town like mine because there’s not enough people.
