Maybe I´m really old by now.... but all that Bryan and his band needed was to stand there, singing the song and play their instruments - and it was phantastic! They needed no half-naked dancers, no fireworks no big show around them. Just THAT voice and those talented musicians. For me that is what real good music and talent is all about!

Esta canción me recuerda mucho a una persona que alguna vez amé y que consideré como el amor de mi vida, me refiero a mi ex-novia, nos conocimos cuando ibamos en el último año de preparatoria (para ese entonces apenas ibamos regresando a la normalidad después de la pandemia), todo se diò tan bien que parecía hasta un cuento, recuerdo que justo el último día de clases ella se sentó a lado mío y me prestó uno de sus AirPods y me dijo que pusiera cualquier canción, esta fue la que escuchamos y lo curioso es que a ella también le gustaba mucho esta canción y conocia a Bryan Adams, desde ese entonces hubo una química muy buena entre nosotros, hasta que nos hicimos novios. Tuvimos altos y bajos como cualquier relación, yo tuve errores, ella también (aclaro que nada de infidelidades), pero creo que mi mayor error fue tolerar todas las groserías que ella me hacía y nunca decir nada por temor a su reacción, yo callaba todo porque confiaba en que no lo volvería a hacer pero seguía pasando y yo seguía callando, realmente era tanto mi amor por ella que incluso la gente de mi alrededor lo catalogaba como un "amor ciego", cortamos una vez porque yo no me había metido a estudiar por diversas razones y ella me terminó porque "no quería andar con alguien que no estuviera estudiando", tiempo después entré a trabajar como ayudante de un coach de tenis y después ella me habló de nuevo diciendo que queria que volvieramos porque me amaba mucho, entonces volvimos a andar porque yo también la amaba a ella, yo ganaba poco a la semana pero para mi era más que suficiente con tal de si quiera darle algo cada vez que nos vieramos (flores, llevarla a comer, cine, etc), prácticamente todo mi sueldo se iba en ella, no tenía ahorrado nada para mi cuando incluso hasta daba mis clases con los tenis rotos o con ropa que ya no me quedaba, todo para que le pudiera comprar algo cuando nos vieramos o llevarla a comer o al cine, y realmente no me pesaba ni me molestaba porque lo hacia con cariño y con amor, empezaron los problemas, antes nos veiamos hasta 3 ò 4 veces a la semana, después se redujo a 2 días o a veces no nos veíamos porque tenía que trabajar (siendo el ayudante del profesor al mando no podía poner mis reglas) y ella se disgustaba, muchas veces me dijo cosas muy feas y yo como siempre callaba hasta que de plano ya no aguanté y decidí terminar con esa relación (me costó tanto trabajo que no lo quería hacer porque de plano la amaba mucho), lo curioso es que ella me mandó de nuevo está canción (era nuestra canción), es por eso que me trae muchos recuerdos tanto buenos como malos, pero prefiero quedarme con los buenos, tiempo después de terminar, traté de contactarla de nuevo (porque me bloqueó de todos lados) y me dijeron que ya se estaba viendo con alguien más, tengo que aceptar que eso dolió un poco pero así es la vida. Sinceramente no la puedo odiar aunque haya hecho tantas cosas que a mi me lastimaban porque ella fue mi primera vez en muchas cosas, ella fue mi primer amor y eso no se olvida, es una lastima que haya tenido que terminar así, así que desde ese entonces juré que no dedicaría ninguna canción de Bryan Adams a nadie y mucho menos esta canción y que se quedaría así, como nuestra canción.
