This was my wife’s favorite song. She said it was our song and it was. The night I proposed to her, at an Italian restaurant at dinner with friends. I had the manager play this for me over their audio system. In the middle of the song, the lights dimmed in the restaurant except the ones around our table. I stood up and got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She said yes and all the patrons applauded us. We had a beautiful 16 years of love and life together. I’m so in love with her still today even. Sadly I lost her to a drunk driver accident in 2003 after 16 years of marriage. Still today when I hear this song it is a reminder of our love and the torture that she was taken from me so brutally. I love you, Paula. Now and forever.

My wife passed away Saturday and she loved this song😢

2024? Bryan Adams is a legend, one of the best songs I ever heard so emotional. I wish I could have experienced the 80s for even a short period, music, films and women were great back then. This song fires me up so much, it's magic. Great video, I got chills when the girl in the audience starts crying and running away, and Bryan tries to follows her.

My senior year of high school Both occasions reminds me of a girl who I knew from my years in both middle school and high school. I give her all the credit in the world for changing me, turning my life around, allowing me to grow into the person that I choose to be. I regret that I never ever told her how I felt about her. When she turned me down for a date to my high school senior prom and turned me down to sign my yearbook, walking away without a goodbye, made me realize that she took me for granted 😢

This song was written about my life. I met the most beautiful and amazing woman 40 years ago at the lowest point of my life. I was broken. She introduced me to Jesus. That was a life changer. God has blessed us abundantly as He made her my wife!!!!!! We are now closer and deeper in love than ever. We so enjoy listening to the 70s & 80s music, especially this song, when we go out crusing in the exotic speed machine I recently bought, simply because I like her.
