If there is something that I might find Look around corners Try to find peace of mind I say Where would you go if you were me Try to keep a straight course not easy Somebody special looking at me A certain reaction we find What should it try to be I mean If there are many Meaning the same Be specific just a game I would do anything for you I would climb mountains I would swim all the oceans blue I would walk a thousand miles Reveal my secrets More than enough for me to share I would put roses round our door Sit in the garden Growing potatoes by the score Shake your hair girl with your ponytail Takes me right back (when you were young) Throw your precious gifts into the air Watch them fall down (when you were young) Lift up your feet and put them on the ground You used to walk upon (when you were young) Lift up your feet and put them on the ground The hills were higher (when we were young) Lift up your feet and put them on the ground The trees were taller (when you were young) Lift up your feet and put them on the ground The grass was greener (when you were young) Lift up your feet and put them on the ground You used to walk upon (when you were young)

Not a big fan of how often modern live show cameras jump around so damn much. It used to be great when they'd give one person camera time for 5-10 seconds so you could really appreciate their playing. Don't need to see the back-up singers more than the singer. Oh well.

@krollpeter
@krollpeter 5 лет назад
@@moyamendez6695 Not a question of speed. But Mr. Ferry's vocals there were more varied, desperate, passionate, in love. The long interlude and the two breaks where done phenomenal and supported the settings in 3 different stages. We may not forget that this is life, and some of the finer details included in the early version can not be perceived by the audience. So they gently toned them down, but made it a bit more rhythmic and concise.

That woman really doesn't get the saxophone solo right. I'm not talking about mimicing the original track, I understand creative liberties and also the restrictions of a live performance. But for me, she just doesn't understand the soul of that melody. She might get the right tempo, pitch and scale but that solo never transcends. Playing it 'well' is not good enough. I hope I get to hear a live rendition of that part someday that brings unsolicited tears to my eyes, like the original.
