I feel good about them this season. They were close last year and battled to the end. Only finished a few games behind the eventual champs. That with Nola and a few other guys having down years and guys missing time with injuries and a bullpen setting a franchise record for blown saves . I think with the moves they made to the line up and especially the bullpen we are going to make the playoffs as long as we stay relatively healthy..

Can honestly say I hated on Bryce when he was on the Nationals because he is a classic hate him on another team but love him on your own guy. But I have never loved a Phillie so soon after coming here. Bryce made baseball exciting in Philly again and showed commitment to the team and city with his contract. Oh and he made sure the ownership know he needed some help and Middleton responded to that because Bryce Gave everything he had and almost dragged us to the playoffs by himself. Made me think of Ryan Howard in the middle of his run when you you run to your seats or back to the TV because any AB could be huge. Sorry for the rant!

The Phillies are going to not play defense so hard this year. They're just going to out lack of defense every team. Can't wait to see them give up runs like it's nothing.

Honestly who cares about this Mickey Mouse sport. No plays at the plate, no shifts, no pitchers hitting, no strategy, nearly every team in the playoffs, ghost runners on second base. Can't wait until the commissioner and the owners bend the rules so the rosters are comprised entirely of designated hitters and designated fielders.

Look forward to. Errors. Bullpen games lack of offense after the first 5. Bad fielding blown saves the philly. GM should be fired along with the manger after the Phillies fail to make the playoffs. K. Bryant should be sitting on the other side of this reporter. None of the problems last season have been addressed by this. GM. The guy signed can not lead off and be the middle of the he order power bat. Sorry this team will not be good enough to be in playoffs.
