Bryce Harper surprises the Phillies fans that gave a Freddie Freeman HR ball to a young Braves fan
On Feel Good Friday, Philadelphia Phillies fans James and Josh Scott join SportsCenter. Instead of throwing back a Freddie Freeman HR ball, Josh gave it to an Atlanta Braves fan that was wearing a Freeman jersey. Phillies star Bryce Harper joins the show to surprise Josh and invite him to Philadelphia for a game.

Hello Josh. I want to tell you what a marvellous young man you are with impeccable character in what you displayed during the Phillies - Braves game. As a former high school and college baseball coach for over 3 decades my number one goal for my student athletes has always been developing positive character traits. I've been blessed to coach Hall of Famers, All Stars and awe inspiring little leaguers. Each with their own special qualities and individuality. But what they all carried with them over the years was opportunities to better someone else's life. Good Job Dad.

Keep doing you guys. This knock a lot of bad stereotypes out the ballpark. If that was me, fan or not of Freeman, that ball is mine 😁. Harper doing this with his schedule and Braves, nice gesture. Stand up for equality in voting rights would be a better gesture by the team.

I really didn't like Bruce Harper until this video. Was it his kindness to the fans? That he took time out of his busy day to do this? Is it the epic Beard? Nope. I just saw his camera pan down and noticed he got an Ohio State hoodie on. Go Buckeyes. I thought he went to a small school in Nevada? What's his ties to Ohio State?
