This young man is incredible. He gave our Lord and savior Jesus Christ the glory. Paul said he was not ashame of the gospel of Jesus Christ, neither am I. God bless you brother in Christ.
The thing I like the most about Bryce’s play is that, while he’s actually pretty fast, he doesn’t leave the pocket unless he needs to. One of my biggest qb pet peeves is a fast qb bailing on the play early before finishing his reads. If he keeps it up, it’ll be hard to imagine he’s not the 1st overall pick in 2023. Here’s hoping he doesn’t go to the lions.
@@jadedtoday1019 I respect the Steelers and their loyal fan base, but good lord they are some of the most dramatic. If they win, you’ll hear about how they are the greatest team in the league. If they lose, you’ll hear how every coach should be fired and that they aren’t what they used to be. The Steelers will be fine. Even after this year when Ben leaves, they will still have a HOF coach, a good d-line (when healthy), a top 5 safety in the league, a good tight end, two talented young receivers, and a good running back. Their future will be determined by how fast they find Roethlisberger’s s successor, but even if they roll with Mason Rudolph next year, they will still be an average team.
It's easy to sit in the pocket at BAMA. I promise you won't be saying this when he gets drafted by the worse team. He's going to be running for dear life 🤣
@@youngtrill9745 Oh definitely. That’s pretty much a given as we’ve seen it happen to pretty much every rookie qb. I’m mainly referring to qbs like Jalen Hurts, who, despite having one of the better o-lines in the league, can tend to scramble early. Not that I don’t like Hurts because I definitely do, just something I’ve noticed. What im saying is that Young’s more willing to throw than run despite his athletic gifts, which will definitely help him in the long run.
That's it!!! Nailed it. I couldn't put my finger on it. After he drew the doubleteam faking the run, then dished it to his reciever for touchdown, that's exactly what it looked like.
based only off of this video, he doesnt progress through reads at all. I am not going to say this is definitive at all, I have alot more research to do it on it but based off this he throws to his first read 85% of the time, which is likely due to Alabama's skill level. He is absolutely great in the pocket like you said though. I think he needs to show serious progression next year though in his ability to read through his open receivers.
@@justinMacPhee I understand that u said u only watched this video but I suggest if u want to decide on something like that, u should watch a full game before u come to that solution. If u want to see him go through his progressions when his Oline gives him time I suggest the Ole Miss, Arkansas, and UGA games
@@justinMacPhee other than that the Auburn and LSU games, the Oline played possibly the worst they’ve ever played under Saban so maybe u see him rushing his internal clock more in those games
They may have not had the best day offensively but when “winning time” came the whole team was able to execute and the elite play of Bruce Young was able to push them over Auburn. Dude is legit. No flash and all production.
I was at his first career start vs miami in Atlanta and you could tell he was different. He maybe small but his arm talent, decision making, and his calm, cool, and collected attitude are something special.
@@agentblock7217 Uh, Murray had 1400 more yards than Tua and 9 more touchdowns. Murray didn't steal a single thing. He was 100% the best player that year.
@@aminc89coming back to this comment to say he’s still has my upmost confidence. Bryce is a special QB who was dealt the wrong hand last year. He’s gonna lead us to the playoffs in the near future
Gotta say this. I’ve been a ‘Bama Fan since 1982 ! We’ve never really had a successful qb in the nfl ! Joe Namath. But until then… Really… nothing. AJ McCarron is still around. Not too shabby. But then came…… Jalen Hurts. ( And let’s face it, he played 1 season in Oklahoma, but he’s a ‘ Bama Boy thru and thru ! ) Then Tua ! Then Mac ! And now Bryce. Now I can say wit pride.. NICK SABAN HAS MASTERED EVERY POSITION TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE NFL ! Running Back ! Receiver ! O-line ! D-Line ! Corner ! Safety ( My fav. And the position I played ! 😉 ) Te ! Lb’s ! And now qb ! NOW THAT IS REMARKABLE ! ROLL TIDE BABY ! 🐘
umm..none of those QBs are currently "good" QBs. Mac Jones might be real soon though but he is far from elite as of today. and Jalen Hurts only great college season was in Oklahoma. Tua has been hot recently at least, we will see how that one plays out especially if he isnt even in Miami next season.
Man the “it’s just easy for bama qbs” is such a tired argument. Alabama has 3 starting qbs in the nfl which is impressive but it’s definitely deeper than them just playing with great talent. Imagine playing scout team everyday against the defensive backs that has came through bama. For example when Mac was there he had to play against people like diggs, Fitzpatrick, surtain and so many others that are absolute studs in the nfl now. The craziest part about it is that your not just playing them but they know exactly what you are running and trying to make you look bad because they were trying to prepare for the upcoming team. I remember Najee talking about why he chose bama and they were like did you come to Alabama for nick saban? And he kinda laughed and was like nah I came to compete with other great players. And last thing I’m gonna say. Just think about this year with Neal and Anderson going up against each other and how much better it makes them. That’s two potential top 5 picks. So yeah the games may look easy at times but it’s supposed to when you play tough competition everyday at practice.
Bingo ! I remember in highschool I was playing center , and we had the top defense in the state of Louisiana only allowing 7 pts a game in 5A (biggest division) we practiced against them and hardly ever scored a touchdown at practice and was getting creamed most of the time but guess what ? We average as a offense 400+ total yards & 40.0 pts a game & was 13-1
@@TheJFS123 no it's not. BY played with the worst Oline bama has had since 2007 as well as depleted rb depth and only 1 game breaking receiver. Without him this is a 3 or 4 loss team
It really only proves they don’t actually watch the players they have negative opinions about. Bryce is that good, anybody with eyes can see this kid is special. More power to you if you think otherwise.
Unbelievable QB. I hate when people call him a bust after his rookie year. I’m a falcons fan and he is on the panthers. So obviously I hope we kill them but he is just unbelievable. He had no help no coach no defense no oline at all no WRS and no RBs. He isn’t a bust. RTR
I like it, Congratulations to Bryce Young, his family, The University of Alabama football fan base and supporters. Enjoy this moment but lets not stop here, keep rolling.
Went to his first start against Miami in Atlanta. You could tell right away he was a gifted thrower of the football. Fantastic attitude and coolness. So happy I got to watch him in person.
Calm down because you are hyperventilating. BY was a terrific high school QB and a very, very good QB for Alabama but he has limited tools. I like his juke-step but he is not fast, nor does he have a quick first step. His arm is no cannon and for thirty-yard passes he must put a lot of body into the throw so his right foot leaves the ground. As for his size, we all know his problem with height/weight and when a defense lineman gets two fingers on him, he goes down like a wet dishrag. Roll Tide, yes, but Mac WAS and Milroe IS a better QB.
Congrats to Mr. Young. I wasn't quite sure if he was clearly the choice until the Georgia game. He completely convinced me with that performance..Kudos young man, no pun intended
@@morrowthewizard3945 calm down Francis. CJ was right there with him until he had the really good game against Georgia. Take the congratulations and shut up about it.
@aunttim2102 That debate sucks and all of y’all know it. Joe Burrow literally had Justin Jefferson And Jamar Chase on the same team with Terrance Marshall. Does that make him worse then Bryce Young?. Tua literally has Henry Riggs Jalen Waddle Jerry Juedy and Devonta Smith. Does that make Tua a bad qb? Also y’all always talk about our talent and claim we don’t play anyone. But did it ever occur to you that those “nobody’s” we play during the season. Bring success to our Wrs in the actual NFL! What now you guys gonna say their isn’t any real competition in the nfl??? Fck outta here 💀💀💀
Idk what it is about this kid he so poised and calm in the pocket when he runs he’s smooth he puts the ball on the money, hope my team picks him up if it doesn’t pan out for our QB rn
I can’t lie, I didn’t think that he was anything special. I thought he was just another “hyped up” guy who’s play didn’t equal to their high star ranking. Long story short I’m now a huge fan of his after the type of FIRST STARTING season he’s had.
@@jadedtoday1019 last 3 QBs aren’t that like great in the NFL and at first Young wasn’t exciting like it’s Bama so he should be doing good but what he is able to do when the season is on the line and under the most pressure is exceed expectations in those moments. Because Bryce doesn’t make a lot of crazy plays but is just is super clutch in big moments and won’t ever be the reason Bama lost
@@jaserand6001 Mac Jones hasn’t won a playoff game yet so we will see not going to hype someone over regular season just yet. Herbert was a better rookie 😂
Guy makes his reads, hits the open man, has a decent enough arm and accuracy. Uses his legs to extend plays when needed. Yea I want him on the lions with jamieson Williams
He seems like the type of guy who will have a great nfl career. He can make plays happen, no matter the situation. Interesting footwork and mobility, seems to look all over the field. Not so sure raiders can get him but if they did that could be great in this tough division with Rock stars. I think he’s going to colts.
