Bryn Arw is a hill in the Black Mountains of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Monmouthshire, south Wales. It lies 4 km north of the town of Abergavenny and 1.5 miles west of the village of Llanvihangel Crucorney. Its summit at 384m (1260 feet) above sea level is the more northerly of two tops which lie on the crest of a slightly arcuate north-south ridge which drops away to the south at first gently and then sharply. The hill is isolated from the main mass of the range by the valleys of Cwm Coed-y-cerig to the north and by Cwm Brynarw to the west. It is a Marilyn.

That was a gorgeous hike Phil. So colourful and the views are wonderful. Apart from the down climb which looked horrible and an ankle breaker Loved that little hamlet and the foxgloves and those buzzards at the end Great stuff mate 👍👍👍

Another beautiful video Phil, you certainly had a great day for it. The weather was perfect. Yes, Foxgloves are out with a passion this year. I prefer the hike with minimal human contact. You know that if you come across one, they will be a dedicated hiker/walker, and you can have a natter with them. I'd rather that than the tourist type paths with 100s of people. Thanks for sharing.

We have some "Black Hills" here in the US too, Phil. They're as absolutely beautiful as these! Maybe somewhat more forested, but this is gorgeous. Loved the views from the high ground and above! We enjoyed your hike. Thanks so much for bringing us along.

👍20 what a beautiful video this is! Superb colours and amazing countryside. Sometimes it’s nice to see the route for yourself and not have youtube spoil it ahead of time! Lovely Merlin. What a great landscape for exploration. I took my first drone flight on Sunday and lost the darn thing for ages. I’ve been too sick and scared to even look at the footage. You make it look so easy! Great shots.mmm, sugar loaf. Stunning foxgloves. Good move on the long pants! We.l done on negotiating that tricky descent! Some relaxing B Roll! Just what we needed after a hard day at work! 👍

Loved that Phil. New one to me. As always brilliant job editing. Beautiful day and pretty much all yours. I've noticed to the foxgloves seem to be everywhere at the moment and so beautiful. Man it was close mate. I thought of shorts but realising it isn’t walked much I guessed the paths wouldn’t be up to much - am I glad I wore trousers 😅 What a lovely place for a quick walk though mate. It was boiling that day so just far enough 😁👍 Hope you’re keeping well mate 👍❤️

In this video I got a great view of Bryn Arw, a hill in the Black Mountains of Brecon Beacons National Park! I think many people will probably enjoy trekking here.
