Next stage with the BSA engine now the crank is sorted. Introduction to the engine I'm working on and sorting out the misaligned cam bushes. I seem to have done a few BSA cam bushes recently so this time I have done a better explanation of how I approach the job.
This engine is just a repair of an already completed roller conversion, clearly done some time ago. It is in the style of a Devimead/SRM conversion but I do not think it is one of theirs, the engine mods are different in some aspects and I feel the SRM work is of much higher quality and finish from what I have seen. If anyone has an idea of who may have done this job, shout up.
This is part one of a series on the A7/A10 engine, I have some parts to play with now so we'll have a go at the timing side roller conversion soon, and we'll work through the job together.
All the best, stay away from that bat lurgy and I'll catch you all soon,
Ade.
UPDATE: I have just re-watched the video and realised the oil pressure relief path is through that passage I poked the wire down from where the PRV is to the feed tube, DUH!
Also noticed the last 2 clips are in the wrong order, double DUH....I'm out of practice, hey ho.
