Hello all. I wanted to make a short point here as my reply to a previous comment is now gone. I'm guessing the initial comment was deleted which is fine and probably for the best. With over 80 different types of pellets in .22, I can tell you that I'm NEVER going to test all of them in this type of series. I doubt that I will test 20 of them. I grabbed a handful of option that I though would show a diversity of what the gun could and maybe couldn't do. I think that was shown pretty well. There's no "conspiracy' to exclude "affordable" pellets or the like. With regards to the Crosman pellets. I used to LOVE them. The premiers, the premier hollow points, etc.. but then the quality got to be terrible. Head sizes were so varied they became completely unreliable. So, I don't buy them or use them anymore. I've reached out to Crosman several times to try and establish a relationship with them, but my emails go unanswered. Additionally, please know that Crosman is not what it used to be. It has been sold several times and is now in the hands of yet another holding company. The same is true for many of the brands we've all grown up with and have loved over the years. With my normal AGW videos that I do for PA and others, they've specifically asked that I keep the videos as short as practical.. This means that I'm not going to show a bunch of pellets that don't work.. what's the point?? I'm going to show you what does work. If folks want to try other options that's awesome. If you find something that works great and can share it with us, even better! Maybe send us a message on Facebook and we'll post your results! Now for our Deep Dive series, it's very different. I'll be working with this one gun fr 6 months to a year.. so if you want to see Crosman pellets test, I'm happy to do that! If you want to see Daisy Pellets tested, I can fo that too! All you need to do is ask, and if time and budget allows, I'll be MORE THAN HAPPY to get in there and do the work. I hope that clears things up. Cheers AGW

Great channel. Good review I have the scorpion se 12 ft power here in the UK. Bsa barells are renowned for their accuracy they are cold hammer forged and not pellet fussy like FX garbage. The power is not your typical 30 plus foot pounds power you have in the states but a 12 foot one is ideal for small game rabbits doves out to 40 yds. Also clearing barns that way your not blowing big holes in the roof. Ps those RWS are very hard pellets they don't do well in any guns I've owned I've found they destroy rubber seals like in fx guns which have a barrel seal rather than the probe seal as in bsa or Daystate guns.

Thank you, finally a gun review for the UK market!👍 can you please test shoot the .177 red wolf in 12 ft/lb at 30 and 50 yards? I'm planning to buy one and would like to know how well they shoot. Great video pall, thank you 😁👍👍👍

So, I take it you have already tested the .22 Premier 14.3g and ruled them out_ RIGHT? Several of my rifles really like Crosman .22 pellets... I'm just sayin'. I'd appreciate an answer; pretty please?✨🤗✨

Hi Rick thank for the BSA Deep dive series. I read the comments and understand both sides of the pellet question. I agree with you on the quality/ consistency of Crosman pellets has gone down from the bulk card board box days. Can you please try Gamo Red Fires more often? Most of my pellet rifles shoot them well! I have a question about the twist rate of barrels? EX. if the twist rate of a barrel is 1:16 and this barrel shoots 14.5 grain pellets well, does the twist rate have a major impact on the wieght of the pellet it will shoot well. Will a 1:20 twist rate shoot different pellet weight well because the twist rate is different? Thanks for your time and hard work!

Hey there.. What I may do is try some "big box pellets" in my next video and see how that works. Then, I'll compare them to the JSB 18.13 and we can see which is the better value? On the Red Fire pellets, let me get with Gamo and see if they can send me a case of them. I'm sure they will and I'll see about getting them in the mix more often. On the AGW "Facts not Fluff" videos, I may not use them in the video if they don't shoot well. So don't think I'm not testing them. If they make the cut, I'm happy to show them because that's what the show is all about. As for twist rate.. I don't know. Not being an engineer and really not caring to find out what's what on that front.. I'll leave that question for some of our more technical viewers to answer. Cheers AGW

Do you ever use the Gamo Red Fire or the Daisy Hollow Points? I think they are very very similar in fact the DHP maybe the base pellet for the Red Fire...not sure...especially since they are both made under the same roof. Also, do the lead free, and copper coated pellets cause any barrel wear compared to a lead pellet? Thanks for the info. Take care, stay safe, God bless.

Why in the USA would you want a $1200 12ftlb air rifle. Review full power

You seem to want to push this gun on people. Your 5 reviews on the same low power gun.

We will be covering this gun for several months, maybe a full year. That is what the “deep dive” series is all about. Not one quick look at something, but a long look over the course of several months or a year. I have well over 900 videos posted to RU-vid. Many if not most show high powered products. Cheers AGW

It's a very quality made gun with cold hammmer forged barrel which is unique and isn't really used on any air guns. It is a master piece from Britain and one for anybody's collection who has an eye for quality and heritage. Not everything is about power and 12ft/lb is enough power for most people who just want to plink or hunt small game. This gun is light weight, compact and packs a punch and its more about the quality, feel, accuracy and consistency that it delivers, not about how much ft/lb it makes. In the UK 12ft/lb is the legal limit for an air gun thats purchased without a firearms license so most of our guns are tuned to sub 12ft/lb even if they're capable of shooting at double or triple that power.
