BSA C15 - a run up to Croick (60 miles)

I was just looking for a way to brighten a grim afternoon here in Cramlington when up popped one of your lovely videos! I'm sitting here with the fire on and the rain pouring down but I get to see the gorgeous Scottish scenery accompanied by the pleasant rumble of your C15 and your witty commentary. I've had a similar issue with a fragile connector on the cable to the negative battery terminal of my AJS. I hope you are well. Thanks for posting.

Another great Video Hugh, the old C15 was bombing along there, a super run out to the old Church and the splendid countryside, also the lovely water course and dare I say rapids with my Photographer's eye a few Images to be had there, I'll have to look this area up and make some plans to do some visiting with the Camera. best Wishes Hugh, take care, Colin.

Thank you for another great video Hugh and for sharing the scenery and some of the history of the area. The bike seems to be running great and incredible that it started with the battery disconnected. And your "Barry Sheene" comment made me smile, you are dating yourself there!

I started out on a C15 in the mid 70s (after 2 mopeds). 50 years and 50 odd bikes later, I'm riding an RE Meteor and Hunter. There are somehow similarities. Love the vlog, great memories of my C15.

Slowly increasing the mileage on my 1960 C15 I,m now up to 43 miles yesterday getting more and more confident. Car drivers are impatient so try to keep on the quieter roads. Love the bike and much more reliable than I anticipated ❤ Great videos they certainly give me confidence to do distances safe riding Hugh 👍👍👍

A sheer delight. Thank you, sir. In the early 1970s I used to ride my Triumph TR25 Trophy (a fake C15) down south. I lived on the slopes of Bennachie, Aberdeenshire. Keep a close eye on the oil circulation!

Your bike must want to be a diesel Hugh😂…..no battery connection…….you’ll be trying it without fuel next….. see if it’ll run on highland air 😉😂 What’s she returning to the gallon??…..good artist in that shed too 😎👌🏽

It does seem to be running nicely at the moment. There are lots of specialists out there who could refurbish your original Smiths unit. 🙄
