Hello Sir, I do agree with you but the point is how we can raise our voice against this decision of RCI because it is a serious issue, it is the matter of all the young present & future psychology students and that is why it is necessary to take some step, it's not at all fair ! It's my humble request Sir please help us out with it..
This is really scary bhaiya... I know some of my friends would wish to pursue this, ut humanities ke students ko sikhaya hi nahi jata... I really wasn't sure of what to do, but at this moment mujhe lag raha hai thank god I took science, atleast the choice to choose isn't being taken away from me... bhaiya but joh purane way se Bsc psychology then Msc and then Psy D karega woh clinical psychologist ban sakta hai right!? to be a clinical psychologist it's not necessary to take this bsc clinical psychology hons!? this seems like a very rushed and not well thought of decision, abhi itne blunders out of nowhere agencies kar rahi hai, students ka mazaak bana diya hai, there is soooo damn much confusion , aise me how do they even expect the conservative parents to allow their kids to pursue psychology with these blunders!
Doing this is only limiting future students who are actually good and have that kind of maturity as a psychologiat. Stream doesn't define anything , this is straight up discriminatiin and stereotypical mindset.
exactly! it is a known FACT that majority of the psychology students and even today’s psychologists- hold a humanities background. limiting it to a stream where most students do not even opt for psychology in +2 is harmful for the field of mental health in India as a whole.
what’s going to happen to students from a non-science background who are already in the middle of pursuing their bachelor’s in psychology? will we not be allowed to opt for M.A in clinical psychology? if that’s the case then they are screwing up the lives of thousands of children, this is a completely unacceptable, discriminatory and biased decision we all must take some stand against it
@@tessa2003 hey, please reply are you sure about this info? I'm a class 12th graduate student from Arts. I cannot afford bsc psychology course and I think academically ba psychology is a better course. I wish to pursue clinical psychology for masters. Should I go for ba psychology course then?
I studied 11th and 12th with psychology as subject and now want to pursue bsc so as become child psychologist.. I'm from humanities stream...this is srsly injustice..eith our dreams😟.. please let us all together raise our voice.... first NTA and now..RCI..😢..
Exactly!! It's actually very disappointing that many students have to psychology viva humanities compared to science bcuz it was compulsory to us and what we ending up, to this!?
Sir bht tnsion hori haiii ab kya kre humanities wale ab counseller bhi ni ban payenge to hum krenge kya vesechi itni limited jobs haii or yeh bhi science waloko dedo phr unko hi do na jobs itni mushkil sr. Parents mante haii or phr yeh guidelines dkho sir please btaye ab ba ya bsc kre kese carrier banayenge
i took science in 12th, and completed my braceros in physics(non-psychology background student). took one yr of drop to study psychology so that i can become a psychologist. fight with my parents, fight with myself. now when i say the first decision that non-psychology background student can't do clinical psychology. My mind went downhill, then i told myself it's ok, lets try counselling. now this new decision. i am so confused, so out of my mind rn. i know others are in more problematic situation, science lay ya art, le liya hai to aab kya kare.. but pls consider everyone's problem. ye ka 2 din me new rule change, fir kisiko psychologist banne nehi doge kya! Lets start the # tag
Your situation is very complicated. I took a drop too during my law course so I understand. I haven't completed the course so I can't pursue masters. But as of now I think you only have the option to pursue masters directly. Masters ke badd mpsy nhi toh I think psyd shyd kar pao for clinical psychology. Abhi they can't just make every existing counseling psychologist unqualified so dw unko bhi license mile uske liye something will be done. Aap masters kariye.
Totally agree with you bhaiya but what about the science students who don't have psychology subject in their school but ,still want to become a clinical psychologist, please do clear
Just , JUST TO BE A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST, I took bio with my humanities subject , so it could help me when studying BSc !!!!! Now I can’t be a clinical psychologist anymore !!??
Hello Sir @PsychoProdigy , Firstly, I thank you for taking this initiative of posting a video regarding this problem of students. I do agree with you but the point is how we can raise our voice against this decision of RCI because it is a serious issue, it is the matter of all the young present & future psychology students and that is why it is necessary to take some step, it's not at all fair ! It's my humble request Sir please help us out with it..

Sir ...if I continue my bachelors in BA psychology will i be able to do clinical psychology further....or only bsc psychology students are allowed to continue with clinical psychology????
What about those who have done RCI recognised Advance Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling and also the once who have done diploma in counselling in offline or online mode. Will they be considered as Counselling Psychologist? If they are implementing this, they should also implement 1 or 2 year RCI recognised bridge course on counselling for those who are pursuing or have pursued Masters in Psychology be it MA or MSc.
