@@karanramaswamy9644 even if you don't have psychology in 12th as your optional subject, there's no problem. You can do bachelor's degree in specifically psychology.

Ig, you should not drop it man! Psychology doesnt pay well in India.. I recently finished my XII this year, and while I truly want to take a course in this field, the breadth is honestly incredibly confusing to me. How would I bypass the income factor though, is something I am currently figuring out lol.

I have heard that DU offers placements in courses related to your area, give it some thought! :)

To be a school counsellor you have to do post graduate diploma in guidance and counselling after masters in psychology.

Go through the latest or the recent upadated research papers, youtube can help, n books as well.. furthermore... try to get a job even with a less salary but when you will gain experience then you can boost your job profile and you can build career in more good way

Look for online courses as well even many universities abroad also offer such courses like online only a few are pre recorded you have to watch it a MCQ based test would be there you have to give and you will get the certificate and a few could be like online video call via as well ...

Doing a diploma of a few months would be a beneficial option for you to you know getting a reconnection with the subject and for practice purpose you can go for internships

MSc me specialization karne ke baad is you wish to do clinical then 2 saal ki M Phil karni padegi... counselling ke liye I guess you can apply for 1 year certified course jisme woh sikhate hai and then you can become a practitioner...

You need to consider your situation then make decision accordingly. If you're 32 years old now and want to pursue psychology, then you should consider some things before coming in this Field. • it is time taking ( atleast 7-8 years to complete study) • there is no income in studying time. You can't expect money while you're doing your bachelors and masters. But atleast there's chance to earn little bit in masters. • it's exhausting and sometimes demeaning but it will surely pay you worthy amount after you get your degrees up to be a professional known psychologist.

agar DU wagera type ki university me jaana hai then yes... but other than that, not necessarily, requirement nahi hoti cuet ki in many colleges... BSc karna hai then you'll require science that you already have... toh you are good to go...

Yes... BA karne ke baad take masters then specialization in clinical psychology, and then M Phil

Naah, I mean you need to do masters, without that you anyway won't be able to do phd... and to become a clinical psychologist you need to do M Phil as well... if you wish to become a professor then phd would be good... but not for being a practitioner...
