After reading Michael's Absolute BSD, I can confidently say that he has successfully accomplished his goal. Not only are his tech books some of the clearest, most helpful tech books I've ever read, but they are freaking entertaining as well. Michael is hilarious! I never knew tech books could be so enjoyable to read. I know he may never see this, but thank you for what you do for us and the community Michael.
He is a regular at the monthly Southeast Michigan BSD User Group meetings: semibug.org/ He is very approachable and generous person. Go to BSDCAN and you may get your chance to pick his brain a little. www.bsdcan.org/2017/ He is now writing full time, so his books are the next best thing to the man in person; and you can return to them day or night without risking a restraining order. Keep searching and you will not be disappointed with the resources out there. The mailing lists are very helpful, so long as you keep the rules for asking questions in mind: www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html www.lemis.com/questions.html Good Luck
