This scene is so adorable. I've had to watch it several times to ease the trauma from 4x07. ;_; POOR GAETA.

Gaeta was Bi. There is an arc in the webisodes where it's not shown but heavily implied that he had an affair with an 8 (Sharon).

i only know gaeta as L from death note. since L doesn't laugh, i freaked out when i heard him laugh in this. i went "OMG HIS LAUGH IS FREAKIN ADORABLE!". hee hee! giggly L. :3

This was a really good character bit -- bittersweet, as some have mentioned, owing to the eventual fate of those characters. Saul's reaction was utterly perfect, of course. It's a shame this was taken out.

@kaino1990 I really wish that Dualla and Gaeta made it to Earth. Two of the characters that I really believed deserved to get there. But their deaths taught some greater lessons in the plot.

Hard to watch this knowing how things end up for both Dee and Gaeta...

He's bi. Idk how ppl who watched "The Face of the Enemy" webisodes missed his kiss with Lt. Hoshi. Gaeta's raider was stranded and Hoshi confided in Adama that Felix was 'important' to him, and was granted a raider to find him. Meanwhile, flashbacks showed that an Eight seduced Gaeta on New Caprica. So, *he slept with HER, had a RELATIONSHIP with Hoshi.* That is a bisexual man, lol.

I never thought that Vakama can be this giggly.

It's a shame that D- what the hell it makes me feel better seeing her character happy than she was in SEason 4.5

(SPOILERS) so angry when felix lost his leg, i knew things were going downhill for him then on, the last straw for gaeta. He was my favourite character besides dr cottle, the old man and the colonel. So sad how his chapter ended, as well as dees.. wish he survived

Even better it was foreshadowing Season 4's the Hub

its the Face of the Enemy webisodes, its showed that Gaeta was with an 8 on New Caprica, and that he got with Hoshi somewhere in Season 4

I think there was some mini episode somewhere that hinted Gaeta was bi. Whatever he was, I wish we'd seen more of the full spectrum of his character on the show. He was pretty cool.

Gaeta is at least Bi-, he hooked up with a 6 when he worked for Baltar on new caprica. Hope that helps with the Shipping.

Gaeta was gay, there were scenes shot between him and Lt. (later Admiral) Hoshi actually kissed. They gutted a LOT of Gaeta's character development, but most all of it was shot. In the episode where Gaeta leads a mutiny to take over Galactica he has Hoshi arrested along with Adama, Tigh in the CIC. The two share this look where Hoshi looks completely shocked, and Gaeta just returns this smarmy, apathetic glare. If you were unaware of the sexual-relationship between the two, it really removed an entire dimension from exactly how committed and zealous Gaeta was to taking over the ship.

I think they could have tailored that piece of information to fit Gaeta's growing distrust of the system under Adama's and Roslin's control rather than a little side joke. It would have fit the plot better, this felt kind of out of place for that point in the story.
