this scene itself is moving and amazing but i guess it's when Adama Roslin theme starts playing when you can't help yourself from crying! one of the best written stories ever !
oh my God this scene makes me cry so hard. So hard. It's so beautiful the way she goes through her life and how she'd always looked for the perfect couch, now only to realize she's only really ever felt at home with Adama on Galactica, of all places, only she's dying... but she realizes home is in the heart, not where you live. Plus I liked when she called him spiffy. It's one of the few times she's been openly affectionate to him in that way. I actually prefer his scoffing huff to the "no"
my heart breaks thinking about this! I remember that line about loosing them both at same time and I cried when i originally heard and now it makes me cry even more. Thanks for uploading this extended scene!
I also thought that he might have meant that he wasn't intending on living after she was gone as well when he said 'i won't have to' but I also thought he was referring to the ship and in denial about it and still thinking he could save Galactica and therefore he wouldn't have to miss the ship. Just hearing them discussing the fact that she's going to die kills me
I LOVE you! (Except of course for the fact that you, well this, made me tear up again - it's even more sad than the original because they seem so damn couple-like). Thank you so much for uploading this!
One of the things I like about this is that it is two adults, smoking weed, having a serious, even profound conversation and relating to each other in a very real way.
I just watched Eddie's commentary track on this episode. Was REALLY disappointed he didn't have anything special to say about Mary's work. Everyone else: the Editors, Writers, Hogan, Callis, Park, Penikett, Sackoff, Bamber, Helfer, even little Hera were 'extraordinary' 'incredible' but nothing about Mary other than 'mary's strongest understanding of her character came here' LOL Thanks for the glowing praise! Disappointing for an Adama/Roslin fan. Actors. There's always some rivalry among leads
