i was using bsnl copper wire for last 6 to 7 years and was tired of 5 mbps so i applied for airtel fibre on 6 september 2020 the guy who booked the orders took my pic and tokk around 5000 rupees for 6 month plan and i had to give him 1000 rupees after instalation 1 month has gone by but no response from the company so i applied for jio fibre and they are coming tomorrow to provide me with new connection , all i wanted to say was that jio fibre is far more better than airtel in jammu.

Rs 1000 installation cost... 3. plus extra wiring cost...Near my house they gave me 500 mtr extra wiring at Rs 1500 4. Plan security deposit at BSNL ofc... Rs 777 Total Cost: Rs 6700 Too much costly for internet connection. But as no other option available in fiber.

I am using bsnl ftth from the past 3-4 month in Dehradun Uttarakhand. They charged me 4000 rs for the installation and 500rs extra for wire. In Starting my plan was 849rs which gives 600gb @ 50 mbps which was working great but now i have shifted to 799 fiber value plan and here's the problem, the provide you with a octronix single band router which gives speed around 85-90 mbps download and upload speed and then only way to enjoy 100mbps speed is purchasing a dual band router (5 ghz) or use it via lan wire in my laptop.

Although Jio & Airtel both provide fibre in my city, Jio is absent in my locality & Airtel fibre ended only 400 metres from my house. This is called luck.

I live in Noida. BSNL laid fiber 2 months back in my sector. They are giving connections through a franchise. I talked to them about the installation cost and the initial charges. They told me they will charge 2500/3000 (18% GST extra) for the cost of Single/Double Band ONT-Router respectively. When I asked them to let me rent the ONT and use my own Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router they initially agreed. They said they will charge 1000 for installation. And a 1500 refundable security deposit for ONT with 90 Rs per month rental. But later the vendor refused to provide connection and asked me to buy the ONT from them only. Which I didn't. So now last week Jio also laid fiber. I got Jio connection 2 days back under their free trial scheme. Speeds are fine, both download and upload speed remain between 140 to 145 Mbps against the promised 150 Mbps.

I am using BSNL FTTH since January, Its working excellent. Getting 25-35 % extra speed than my plan always. 🔥😍(both up/downloading). Now shifting to new plans Done ✅

But there is no another fiber connection except bsnl fiber in my area There is vendor system in Jaipur The Prices for your information - for single band router (syrotech) = ₹3000 ( yours permanently) - for dual band router (syrotech) = ₹4000 (yours permanently) - for Wire = ₹1000 only ( no extra charge even your house/office is very far from the pole ) They have 2-3 brands routers (not famous brands) . You can buy routers from them directly OR you can buy your own one If u only want connection then ₹1000 to vender (no router included) Security is same as your plan . Which u have to deposit in bsnl office If u want to change plan in future. Visit office directly . Best answer from my side My city vendors has given best facilities till now . I think even airtel and jio also cannot give facility like them Bsnl user from last 15 years . Always had bad experiences with them . First time happy with them bcz of vendors only . Bcz bsnl offices are still mess

BSNL FTTH has been working as promised in my home, promised speed of 50Mbps and I get around 40-60Mbps most of the time. However, the data is capped at 600GB and this is calculated towards upload speeds too, which means both the download and upload usage is counted towards the data cap. Shouldn't be a problem for most users but I run a CCTV setup at my home and it requires ateast 450GB off upload data every month which leaves you with only 150GB download data left.

For amount without complete experience read in the last. Firstly in my area there are no other services provided, I am copper bsnl subscriber from around 9 years which was operated by BSNL themself. Then Last year when they launched fiber I applied for the connection, after few days I got and call and a visit by the bsnl office member to tell me about plan and charge. I felt that he was given some information in a meeting, and he lack information about plan( As most of the bsnl members are aged members). Then he said me that we have vendor system here and your connection will be installed by them soon. He said me no installation charges anywhere across India ( even it is mentioned in there website which I researched ) but we need to pay plan price which is security deposit ( I took 777 plan which he was telling that it's not there but I have researched about plan so I argued where he was telling me to take premium plan. Then he tell okay you fill the plan you know 😜 in the form. He took 777 rupees and went telling vendor will do next job in few days ( he said within 3 working days). But no one showed up even after a week after which I called him again, he was shocked and asking me why they did not. He give me vendor number for which I called, vendor owner was very arrogant, he said me the last connection ( box ) is very far from the around 1.5 km so you need to pay the amount for extra wire or get more connection nearly. I got angry and we had a bad fight 😂, but as bsnl was the only fiber option, I called the bsnl person again and said him all then next day, he brought the members of the vendor, but I was very angry so I called the bsnl Karnataka Bangalore GM ( number I got from there website ) and said the problem and the extra money demanded by the vendor and delay in the installation. I given the number but as the bsnl members came home that time I given him the call, the GM as very well spoken and polite, he heard me and promised me no extra amount we will later. He scolded the bsnl member and said to inform the vendor just to install or fill a complaint against the vendor ( he said to the bsnl members). And next day the vendor pulled the wire and said me to get my own router or buy a router+ modem (wifi) from them at 2000. As I wanted to get connection and I need to order online for router ( which will take time) I got it from them. Thn he took 100 rupees for the yellow wire. And after around 2 hours the bsnl members came with the vendor members to activate and setup the router. And from then the internet was working. I first was on the 777 plan for around 4 months and then changed the plan to 749 plan with hotstar premium membership as I was using around 250 to 290 gb in first 4 months. There will be no major problem with the network ( leaving sometimes the speed will be go to 30 Mbps from 45-50, but it is like 1 to 3 times in a month. ( I consistently get download speed between 45 to 55 and upload speed between 48 to 65 And if I count when the network got disconnected redlight is 3 times. First time I lodge a complaint in the bsnl portal and network restored in 1 day. Second time even after one day it didn't worked after complain in bsnl portal so I called the number of the technician of the vendor which was given while the installation, he took the info and solved the problem same day. Third time I directly just msged to the technician as he said me to do last time, without bsnl portal. And the problem was solved the same day. ) In first bill I got extra 777 rupees to pay as convenience charge. Which was not said to me by bsnl members. Full amount 777( according to your plan) upfront payment to the bsnl to book with the details fill form and proof and photo. After 100 meter, Wire charge which some vendor try to cheat.( You can do a complaint in the bsnl officer main engineer of your bsnl office or gm of your area (number from bsnl website) Router if you buy from them around 2000( you can buy outside or use your router if you have) 100 for yellow fiber wire( this was not mentioned anywhere in the website but I think the vendor took this extra). In first bill you will need to pay convenience chargeequal to your plan amount extra ( in my case 777). As I got my connection activated 21 of the month I was charged for 9 days of that month. From next month 777+GST. I just wanted to share my complete experience here. According to me you can go with bsnl fiber as I don't had any major issues with the network. and I get good upload speed. But installation may take between 2 to 10 days ( more time if you get a bad vendor but you can complaint to your area gm to get the connection fast if they don't do in 8 days).

In GZB . Here the bsnl fibre is being managed by Pvt vendor .Bsnl also denied to upgrade the current bsnl broadband connection to fibre .New connection is available at 700+one-month rent as security + 2800(simple low range onu/ont modem)+gst on total amounts to 4700approx . Here airtel and excitel are also available who are providing better service at lower cost Airtel is not charging for onu/ont modem and charges only 1000(inclusive gst) installation for 499 and no installation charges for 799 and above But in case of excitel modem has to be purchased either from them or from market and the installation charges are 1700 + 3/4 month rental in advance which amounts to 6300

Installation cost : 4500/- which includes Dual Band ONT GPON router (GENEXIS), security deposit and 600 meters of cabling. I think 4500/- is justified for this service and I'm always getting between 50-60 Mbps speed with 777 plan with 50 Mbps. And also he told me that anytime if I want to close the connection he will take the router and will give me 2000/- if i want or i can keep it + I will get 777/- from BSNL. Today I changed plan to 449/- (which will take 24hrs to update) to test if it will not be enough for me than I'll switch to 799/-. Yesterday same vendor installed the connection in my father's office (Government) with 999/- plan so I'm using Disney and Hotstar with that. I'm happy with the service of BSNL and vendor kyoki vendor ka ghr and office mere colony me hi h kabhi bhi utha lunga sale ko 😂

Ha vendor se kabhi service lena nahi chahiye Mai vendor se le raha hoon wishnet ka 70 mbps plan 590 mai Lekin mujhe speed milta hai 20mbps 😭😭 Aur installation charge mujhe laga 4500 rs Router alag se kharidna para😭 Aur koi competition nehi hai isliya itna loot raha hai humse😭

Btw in my city only in places where rich people live have facility of airtel and jio fiber. Areas like mine where upper middle class and lower middle class live has only BSNL Fiber available. Problem is that Airtel and Jio are lazy to expand there connection. BSNL is 5 km way and they already expanded there fiber in my area but airtel and Jio are just 1.2km and 600m away respectively from me have didn't expanded their fiber network yet in my area from last 1.5 years.

Installation was free... They didn't charge anything I just installed BSNL and got my first Bill as well

BSNL in not providing router rental basis after lockdown. Router price is ₹3250 it can be 3500-3600 Max you need to select and pay for a plan 2x 799+(799) for security deposit. GST excluded. No installation charges if poll is not above 100 meter away. Total would be ₹5500 something

For me, after the installation was done, BSNL said I had to pay Rs. 2000 up front and then Rs. 90 per month for the router. They said it would not be possible for me to buy a router and renting the router from them was the only option. Why is it that only BSNL does this and not other providers?

Most people don't know the rules and regulations that are applied only for BSNL but Pvt operators get relaxation. It's the rule made by TRAI under which max 90 days package can be made. If allowed it can be extended. Plz first look at the problems bsnl is facing and then make comments. They are not free to work according to their own sweet will like the Pvt operators. They are bound to follow guidelines set by DOT and TRAI. And people are commenting on bad service by bsnl. But do u guys keep any track under what circumstances they work? No fund, no facility, no regular salary ( being a govt organisation) and over all no 4G. When Pvt operators are allowed to get 4G, then inspite of being the only govt telecom sector in the country,why aren't they allowed?? Just give them equal chance and the n talk about service. First come and step into their shoes for one day and then u will come to know their hardship and then criticize them. And one more thing,the requirement procedure of bsnl is very tough and now even tougher after GATE score has been made compulsory. And if anybody doesn't know about GATE then plz ask Google. Their engineers have sound knowledge and get the job after hard competition. They don't get job by anybody's recommendation.

Can you tell what modem/routers we can use for these plans. The installation by vendor is 4k including the router which is of Scopus or GXgroup . (Ont,voip) I dont think this is a good one. So i asked for without router. It was 2k. Is there any ont router with features like dual band and GE port. Basically one which allows me to completly make use of the high speeds.

BSNL nahin lena chahiye in short and sweet. I think Airtel fiber ₹499+18% GST is justified with 40mbps speed and with several OTT apps comparing to Jio fibre ₹399+18% with 30mbps speed with Nil OTT apps.

I have been using BSNL FTTH from last 2 years and I have to say that it is the worst internet service in our country. I have opted for their 100 Mbps plan and I hardly get 50 Mbps. So doesn't matter they launch 300mbps plan, the speed would still be very poor. Their after-sales service is pathetic. Only choose BSNL fibre if you don't have any other option in your area.

as per TRAI any plan you launch should remain valid at least for 90 days..thats why BSNL launches new plans for 90 days and if required they extend them
