I have been using airtel broadband with the 799 plan for the last 2 months. The download and upload speeds have never gone below 100mbps till now. I feel no other service provider gives such good service quality. You forgot to mention that even for 3 months advance payment we get free installation. Airtel is rapidly covering all the local areas by installing there DPs and fiber cable at where jio gigafiber is not available. Definitely jio is best in terms of price but its unavailable in maximum region.

I am an airtel Fiber user and recently purchased xstream box..my 2 centa buy the xstream box only if you use both ott + the normal tv channels. Speed,Service wise whatever I have received is best till date for fiber connections .FYI already used Hathway and tikona here in Pune. Research and then order it might suit some users. As far as JIO goes m not sure about its availability it's still not available. And as far as firestick goes spent 2700 and it worked for 14 months now it's dead and after service is pathetic.

I'm in nashik, maharashtra. And when I asked about airtel they asked to take 799 plan for 6 months at Rs.6800 approx If I want 499 plan they asked to pay Rs.3100 For 1st month. Airtel is not cleared with their fees.. it sucks😣😣😣😣😣

Thanks for sharing the information, loved the honest and more importantly, correct content. Absolutely agree on the set top box scam. I got bombarded with calls from airtel when I tried to get more details on the set top box from them. Although every guy tried to sell it but all had very low knowledge on it, I myself have opted for just Broadband with out set top box. Fire stick is better any day when you honestly compare it with Airtel box. Requesting all to either wait for a more meaningful scheme from airtel or consider buying a andriod TV instead.

Does Jio still cap upload speed at 10% and does Airtel still give the upload speed with respect to the plan I take? 2. What company router does Airtel provide? Is it a Gigabit router with gigabit LAN ports? Model no.? 3. I have an existing WIFI 6 TP link router. Can I run Airtel fiber in it if I convert the fiber to LAN via a converter? 4. On the 1GBPS plan, airtel previously gave truly unlimited data but now is that plan also capped at 3333GB ? 5. Incase one exhausts 3333GB of data is there a new top-up plan by airtel? Please add this info in your next video Airtel is working on 2 models, one is postpaid that is available in cities where it is available from long time, another is prepaid/advance rental where they have newly launched. In advance rental they are charging mandatory 1K installation amount even if we opt for long term plans, further they are not providing landline connections in these cities, I have opted this in Shimla and Airtel's technical team is stating that landlines would take another 2 or 3 months to get activated. Further there are tons of Terms and Conditions for Advance Billing Areas that you can see in their T&C pages. I am happy about their speeds, even on wifi the speeds never drop below 100 Mbps when I am nearby the router, getting over 10 MBps speeds on IDM etc, but their terms and conditions are so painful, when I took the connection they told that landline would be activated in 1 month and now it has changed to 2/3 months. Even Jio was Available in my location but heard that its service is not that good, speeds stay at 80 to 90 Mbps on wifi, thats why I went ahead with Airtel

Bro, there is one trick to bypass the active dth connection requirement on Airtel Xstream Box. But it's slightly lengthy and after using it, hot buttons for netflix, prime video and youtube stop working. Airtel should allow to let Xstream Box function with active Fiber connection instead of forcing users to recharge dth.

I already had Airtel DTH connection 😂😂 so I upgraded my box for 2000 rs ... So I got airtel xstream box... I would say that it's a good buy !! Now I want you to say the truth about airtel and jio speedtest comparision broadband !!!!! Bcoz jio is giving 25 Mbps average speed in 30 Mbps plan while airtel is giving 45-46 Mbps average speed in 40 Mbps plan... I think 25-26 Mbps is SHIT if you are a hard user of internet ... But while 45-46 Mbps is very very good ... So airtel 500 plan gives you around 20 Mbps more speed off paper !!!! I assume you forgot to mention this

How to migrate from 799 plan to new 499 plan? The 121 number IVR instructs you to go to Airtel Thanks App for plan change. There is option for plan upgrade to 999 plan in Airtel Thanks App. However, there is no option of plan downgrade in this App.

Will the same connection be active even if I opt for Broadband+xtreme Box? And mere pass already Airtel 4k set-up box tha. Mujhse bola gaya k aapke pass already set-up box to company aapko basic HD box nhi degi. Fir bound kiya gaya k aapko xstream box lena hoga kyoki ye bilkul free hai, maine kaha dekhlo koi charge to nhi hai iska ? 4 baar confirm karne k baad finally maine bola k theek hai agar free hai to lagado. Jab ghar per bix laga diya to bole k aapka jo pehle wala 4k set-up box hai wo hume return karna hoga (maine socha k chalo koi nhi naya box bhi de hi rahe hai). But bill me 1500 plus GST add ho gaya. Matlab jo basic HD box milna tha wo bhi nhi mila and jo mera 4k set-up box tha wo bhi le liya and jo xstream box lagaya uske 1500 plus GST bhi le liye. I think this is scam.

Is it possible to change the plans on the fly or I have to wait for the whole month to change the plans? Like I want to test a 1gbps plan, if I change the plan in between, will it get activated instantly? And say after a day or 2 I change the plan back to 200mbps from 1gbps. Will this work? Obviously the usage of 2 days 1gbps would be added in the bill. But if this possible?

As I m airtel xtreme fiber customer, I m satisfied with the service. During installation I paid 3700+ & get extreme fiber installation done. Wiring done from 150+ meters station. Got 3 month free unlimited plan of 200 Mbps (which is now 999 monthly + gst.) . No additional payment done to airtel or its service man. But I forgot to get free set top box.

In my city Dehradun, new Airtel fiber net connection plan is costing additional 1000 for an activation fee. This is additional to the rental, installation fee and gst. Is it same in other cities?
